I know 2 guys with them that have been really happy. They are still selling units. There are a lot of action cameras but I went down the rabbit hole and two issues hit most, battery life (I wanted at min 4 hours) and dashcam mode that was useful. I ended up getting the Garmin front (recently) and rear (over 2 years ago) and have been really happy. For me integration to make it easy and on every ride is key. I move them between bikes in 30 seconds too this way.

I love both of my Garmins (67s). Everybody is going to have opinions & here is mine : I have not had any issues / problems / breakdowns at all. Both installed last year & was in your position. What got me to just go ahead was a great pro install opporrunity. I may have paid a bit much by other's thoughts but I have had no problems so I remain happy with them. Cheers!

My wife and I did 2000 mile road trip with Garmin 67w in pre adaptive cruise control or any driver assist vehicle. It not only gave us collision warning but also lane departure detection. Kept us straight and made sure we know if we need to stop. Almost felt the dash cam recording was a bonus.

My vote is the Garmin line of dashcams. They are bit more expensive than your typical dashcams found on Amazon, but I like the Garmins because they are small and inobtrusive. They also use a magnetic mount where a small metal disk is permanently attached to your windshield, so you don't need to worry about a rubber suction cup drying out and losing it's ability to stick to the windshield over time. It comes with two of the metal disks in the package and replacement aftermarket disks are readily available on Amazon. The one downside is that they do not offer a dual camera model that provides both front and rear coverage. You can connect to the camera via the Garmin app and can view a live feed or download the dash cam videos. You can also subscribe to a plan that gives you cloud storage of your dashcam videos. Garmin also offers a "permanent" power solution that uses a cord plugged into your OBDII port that provides power even when your car is off. The cord allows you to set the time to always on (cord stays powered), turn off after 10 minutes, or turn off after 24 hours. We have one Model 47 and two Model 67's. These are discontinued and were really small, although they can still be ordered through Amazon even though they are no longer manufactured. They are about 2-1/2 inch by 1-1/2 inch. The dashcams included lane departure warnings, collision warnings (if you get too close to the car in front of you), as well as traffic light alerts and speed camera alerts.

I have a Garmin dashcam wired with their ODB adapter. Works great! A plus, the Garmin app to access it works very well. The apps for my previous dashcams were dumpster fires. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B093244D1J

BEWARE of REDTIGER. Garbage customer support and heat damage killed mine in Texas. I personally recommend the Garmin 67W no issues in 3 years

I have a Garmin one. Don't remember exactly which one. 57W or 67W something like that. Was a little weird navigating UI and took me far too long to figure out how to put it in gallery mode, but I've never had any issues with the camera and it takes great videos. I bough a fairly large SD card for it, so I've only had to reformat once or twice. Was a bit pricey. But cheap in the long run, if you ever actually need the footage for insurance.

I work at Best Buy so I had the autotech installer do it for me. I have [this](https://a.co/d/aG9GfkR) dashcam and it's done wonderfully for me over 3 different vehicles. I would recommend getting the [parking cable](https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/587564) so it works even when the car is off and can record if someone hits or breaks into your car. [This](https://imgur.com/a/EgVuQ4n) is how i have it mounted in my 24 crosstrek, have had no issues whatsoever!

Afaik anything should integrate. The integration is just a USB splitter essentially. Splits the mirror power to the mirror and the dash cam. I'm a big fan of Garmin dash cams, I use the 67W. I figured if Garmin is trusted for airplane telemetry I can trust them, and so far it's been reliable for 2.5 years. It's been my witness to 2 accidents now unfortunately. I actually got rear ended this month and plan to use insurance settlement money to upgrade to a Garmin tandem to capture rear as well.

I have a Garmin 67W in both of our cars. It's successfully captured footage used in insurance claims on half a dozen occasions at this point (many of which our vehicle wasn't even involved in, I just had high quality footage that I was able to provide to an accident that I witnessed). I use the Garmin Constant Power cable which converts the OBD port into two USB ports.

I have a Garmin DC 67w that is suction cupped next to my rear view mirror and is powered thru the OBD port (a diagnostic port a mechanic would use to check out the car). Zero professional help needed. It turns itself off, or it can be on sentry mode and activate if something hits the car.

Look at a Garmin 67w, had this in our 2022 Outback before it got totalled. Using a Thinkware Q200 in the new 2025 outback, it has front and rear cameras. We are using the Thinkware F200 pro in our 2019 Crosstrek, also has front and rear cameras.

I've been using the 67W for years now. I like the wide field of view and how simple it is to use coupled with the stunning image quality.
