Check out gazelle tents. I have the T3x and the T8. Love both. The T8 is too much for 2 people IMO. I'd take a look at the T4. Not the T4 plus. A bit big, but super easy to put up and take down.
r/CampingGear • Recommendations for a car camping tent for two people that you can stand up in. $500 budget. ->I'm only one season and 3 uses in but, so far my T4 has been great. Only real downside is it's bulk. It's long and heavy. But it's a castle of a tent.
r/camping • Are Gazelle Tents worth it? ->Gazelle T4, North Face Wawona or Big Agness Big House. Agree the T4 is a bear to.load and carry. We use our Wawona a ton once we learned how to set it up hahaha
r/camping • Best way to sit up in tent ->I have a Gazelle T4. Fits diagonal easily in the bed of my Nissan Frontier. Sets up so fast.
r/camping • Easiest setup tent? ->I have a gazelle T4 overland exp. When driving I put it on top of my jeep roof rack and strap it down. I love the tent. Quick setup and take down like advertised.
r/camping • Easiest setup tent? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS

Easy to setup Quality and durability have never been an issue for me or people I know. I'm sure someone somewhere will be like "they are junk". Condensation control is going to depend on the weather as there is plenty of vents. Might be better off with 2 T4's from Gazelle.
r/CampingGear • Looking for a new tent in 2025 ->Gazelle's are good, but they weigh a freaking ton. Not sure of your reasons for ditching the RTT, but other than the weight, the biggest downside of the hub tents are the massive amount of room they eat up in your vehicle. They don't park down like regular tents. I find myself running short on space when I use my gazelle.
r/camping • Ditching the RTT for the ground. For the wife and I the cons outweigh the pros. Now in the market for a good Hub tent, any recommendations? I've been looking at the Gazelle T4 or Roam Drifter. ->Gazelle tents are easy to set up and are indestructible. I (64M) have had a T4 Plus for years
r/camping • Tent Purchase - Overwhelmed ->I love my Gazelle. From the inside, it has a smiling face. https://preview.redd.it/q1pj3tjxh9de1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=76c1a899f46a5a1e9502a4754044d726496ff4b3
r/camping • Looking for a functional, but aesthetically pleasing, tent. ->Tried the Gazelle, liked it until I put it away on the first trip and 2 out of 4 metal sheath ends for the rain fly poles went loose into the dirt. Terrible quality for the price, went back to REI and got the Nemo Aurora.
r/CampingGear • I analyzed Reddit data for the 25 most recommended camping tents (in the past year) ->We've used our Gazelle T4 for 7 years, including adding two kids to the mix, and it's held up really well! I really love how quick it is. I don't think we have the removable floor, that does sound a little sketchy.
r/camping • View on Reddit →We have the regular T4 and I agree it's VERY tall. Roomiest 4 person tent I've ever used.
r/camping • View on Reddit →Yeah on long trips I store my T4 in my Thule rooftop box which is just long enough to hold it. It also holds my bags with sleeping bags and pads too. For quick overnights it fits in the back of my SUV with the back seat down.
r/CampingGear • View on Reddit →My only problem now is that I have a player 2 and it's not great for 2 people and one bed. I don't sleep on the ground.
r/camping • View on Reddit →We have the T4+, too-2 adults, and 2 dogs. It's heavy and huge but so easy to set up and incredibly comfortable for us. We also like that the plus part means we have a space to hang out in if it rains and don't need to worry about a tarp all the time. Some small things are annoying like the velcro at the entry, but I'm still very happy with my purchase.
r/camping • View on Reddit →Honestly I'm not sure. There's been some posts recently about quality control issues with Gazelle, but that may only be anecdotal evidence. I bought my Gazelle T4 in early spring 2024 and have used it for around 40 nights. It's been great but there's a couple small issues. First, in super heavy downpour (more than an inch per hour) it would soak through around the hubs and also where the mesh bags are sewn into the sides. I put seam seal on the seams of the hub and the mesh bags on the outside and this reduced the amount that soaks through but 90% (and it would only soak through in torrential downpours.) Also wind is an issue, I'm talking about 20+ mph winds - the hub will collapse in fairly easily if not guyed out. The more horizontal you can guy out the hubs the better, and in high winds I'll guy it out with two lines at 45 degree angles from the tent. When I guy it out well, the tent hub hasn't collapsed in 30+ mph winds.

r/camping • View on Reddit →I came here to say this. It's big, but it's easy peasy.
r/camping • View on Reddit →Gazelle tents, T4 is perfect for a queen XPED mattress, and still plenty of room for my two cats, plus I can stand up completely and I am 5'7. It is also super easy to set up and take down!
r/camping • View on Reddit →The T4 may be tight for you if you have large dogs, or if you store gear in the tent and not the car. The build quality, vertical sidewalls and height are great tho.
r/camping • View on Reddit →If you could squeeze like 30-50 more dollars... I highly recommend the Gazelle T4. Sets up crazy fast. Two doors. Plenty of air flow. So much storage options inside. Room for many, many things.
r/camping • View on Reddit →Gazelle T4 or Caddis Rapid 6 as a less expensive lighter-weight option. If you need something bigger I recommend a cabin tent, the Gazelle T4+ is enormous in its storage pouch and super heavy too.
r/camping • View on Reddit →I have a T4+ and love it. I've only used it a handful of times so far. I've been in it during a very windy thunderstorm and it held up remarkably. The screen room is great for extra gear you don't want to leave out, or to just have a place to relax during a downpour.
r/camping • View on Reddit →I've been camping for 30 years and I'm a huge fan of our Gazelle brand pop up. With little kids including a baby who doesn't like to be put down, it's a huge time saver!
r/camping • View on Reddit →I love my Gazelle T4! 40F, solo camping, easy to set up and take down.
r/camping • View on Reddit →I've used it for dozens and dozens of nights. Only issue I had was one night when we got over 2 inches of rain. The rain started to seep through the stitching at the hubs. After that I applied some seam seal to them and I think that has resolved the issue. Another concern is high winds. I have used it in steady winds up to 25 mph with higher gusts, but I had to tie out the hubs with guy lines, using two lines per hub to give better holding power, and also I swapped out the stakes to more heavy duty all metal spikes which I bring a hammer to hammer into the ground. No issues when I stake it out like this.
r/CampingGear • View on Reddit →yeah, just go with a Gazelle. if you didn't care about bulk i'd recommend a Snow Peak but they aren't necessarily easy to setup.
r/camping • View on Reddit →I have the orange and LOVE it. Such a great tent. So cozy. So easy. â›ºï¸ https://preview.redd.it/uddc64wmhl3f1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e4cc2ead3939efd8b75aa133891f94928f3b636b
r/camping • View on Reddit →A few years ago Academy Sports decided to use that same pop out technology, and now I have 2 *basically* [Gazelle clones](https://i.imgur.com/eiUXlrM.jpeg) that I paid less than $250 total. They are fking amazing tents. The blue one is my favorite. Butttttt Academy being Academy they never actually pushed it even though they are extremely awesome.
r/camping • View on Reddit →I have a Gazelle T4 Plus. It's the best tent I've ever had.
r/camping • View on Reddit →We had a trunk tent for almost 2 years. The main thing we couldn't get over was the limited airflow. Ended up hardly ever using it attached the vehicle. Once it fell apart, we went with a pop up tent like a gazelle for ease of setup and best of all, not 4 sided. That way you can setup a table in the middle and still get around, or set up multiple tables on the walls with tons of room.
r/overlanding • View on Reddit →We like the gazelle too. Husband can stand up in it. Quick set up/tear down. Very roomy and seems to be holding up really well.
r/overlanding • View on Reddit →If you're spending that type of money, look at the gazelle tents.
r/camping • View on Reddit →Only downside with those is the size when taken down. Not sure what kind of car OP has.
r/camping • View on Reddit →I can only give my experience with my Gazelle. Overall it is great, and I've used it for over 40 nights over the past two years. I did have an issue with water seeping in during very heavy downpour. I'm taking several inches of rain in an hour downpour. It would soak in through the stitches around the hubs, and also where the interior mesh bags are on the sides. I put seam seal on all of these and it helped a lot - instead of a drip it just gets slightly damp to the touch. No issues with seams around the zippers at all. I would buy it again. Oh, and I ditched the stakes that came with it and instead use heavy, all metal spike stakes. You have to make sure to guy out the hubs in strong winds, and the more horizontal the guy line can be the better, or else wind can collapse the hub. I'm taking 15-20mph plus wind. Was in 30-40mph gusts and it held up, but I'd guyed out the hub the direction the wind was coming from with two guy lines, each as horizontal as I could get them, 45 degrees from each other.
r/camping • View on Reddit →I saw over a dozen gazelles that totally failed during a storm at an Overland event two years ago. They did not hold up well at all. Guy lines were used etc, but they were some of the worst fairing tents among them all. I was a volunteer and had to go around taking stock of the damage and help people and after that I would not buy one of their tents.
r/overlanding • View on Reddit →I have a gazelle T4 overland exp. When driving I put it on top of my jeep roof rack and strap it down. I love the tent. Quick setup and take down like advertised.
r/camping • View on Reddit →Size and ease of setup. I use a Gazelle T4 because it really does set up in one minute. Storage size is large but it'll fit easily either in the back of my SUV or in my Thule rooftop box.
r/CampingGear • View on Reddit →My partner and I use a Gazelle T4 and I love it. It's not huge, but I wouldn't consider it small either. No porch either. Okay, it's not what you're looking for... I just needed to mention how much I love it for 2 people. A lot of room for gear (I keep a chair in ours) and standing room. Edit: ALSO, it takes like 90 seconds to set up (without staking), 3 minutes with staking, 8-10 minutes if you suspect heavy rain and want to guy out the rainfly (don't need to in light rain). There's a version that is double the length for a screened in porch area, but it's very bulky.
r/camping • View on Reddit →+1 for Gazelle. In addition to being very roomy, the Gazelle is very very fast to set up and tear down. It handles inclement weather and strong winds (with the guylines staked down) very well
r/overlanding • View on Reddit →It's always kind of amused me that Gazelle is known for being heavy. Gazelles, famous for their immense bulk and weight. And yes I know it's called that because it's fast to set up lol. They really are super nice.
r/camping • View on Reddit →I've been considering a roof mount because mine make the bed a little awkward because I need to lay it diagonal.
r/camping • View on Reddit →I have a Gazelle T4 plus. It's amazing. A two room pop up tent. They also make other sizes. Sets up in minutes. And you can stand up in it, great for dogs and wives.
r/camping • View on Reddit →Check out gazelle tents. I have the T3x and the T8. Love both. The T8 is too much for 2 people IMO. I'd take a look at the T4. Not the T4 plus. A bit big, but super easy to put up and take down.
r/CampingGear • View on Reddit →Hahaha I have never experienced that. It's a regular tent that is waterproof and rainproof, let alone bug proof.
r/camping • View on Reddit →Check out Gazelle, it's bulky but I love it anyway.
r/camping • View on Reddit →When I take my two kids camping we use to use a Coleman Sundome for a couple years but I got so tired of having to set it up and tear it down that I got a Gazelle T4 tent and I've been very happy with the ease of setting it up alone in under 90 seconds
