I also purchased the Bumbleride Era and have a Graco Snugride car seat using the attachment. I have the infant insert as well. I've been using it for just over 2 months and I love it! It handles so well, baby is comfy and there is lots of room for him to grow. I do wish the basket was a little bit bigger, but it holds what I need. I was super picky when choosing a stroller, and I'm glad I went with this one.

I have a Bumbleride Era and Uppababy Minu V3. I mostly use the Bumbleride because we take long walks frequently (baby naps in it even at 13 months), and I use the Minu for quick car errands.

Some additional features to consider: •locking front wheels (I live in a snowy place and this helps us push through heavier snow) •stroller basket accessibility (our current stroller makes putting larger things/diaper bag in/out of bottom basket a hassle) •car seat compatibility & how (ours has a converter attachment but the attachment has to be removed before folding) We have the bumbleride Era and generally really like it.

We have a Bumbleride Era and it's great. We don't use it a lot, but great for walks and outings. I wouldn't bother with the car seat adaports as they are hard to use and the stroller is already big and bulky. No way am I taking it into a store. I like to babywear, or use a doona/evenflow type car seat. I think I would get the Bumbleride jogging option. It's easier to fold and I never use the parent facing option.

We have a Bumbleride Era (love it!) and I wouldn't even bother with a bassinet. The seat of the stroller lays flat and can be used from birth. You can add the cotton insert so LO is more snug, and that's enough!

I prioritized excellent wheels and suspension and got the Bumbleride Era ($700). I wanted real tires and it works GREAT on uneven terrain. Baby can sleep through anything. It doesn't work with car seats though so I also have a basic snap and go car seat stroller that I keep in the trunk ($80). I had a hand me down car seat (from a trusted friend with no accidents) that didn't work with any stroller systems so that made it easier for me

Check out bumbleride in place of a Thule. We looked at Thule too (and bob as well) since we spend most of our time outdoors on dirt/gravel trails but didn't want to loose our entire trunk space. We got the era which was a nice blend of an urban stroller like the vista with the parent facing seat, but it also had the big air tires like the Thule and Bob. I'm in Vancouver and it's great for the west coast weather, and I always see a ton available on marketplace on both the mainland and island.

We use a bumbleride era stroller, great for all terrain (we've tried it in snow, slush, sidewalk, mud and gravel) and it lays down flat for a newborn. Plus the brand is great when it comes to chemicals etc. There was no off gassing when unboxing the stroller. For baby wear, a baby wrap when they're small is great and a structured/buckle carrier when they're heavier and have better neck strength. I used the cuddle bug initially but I found the fabric thick and heavy, I was worried about baby overheating. We got a beluga wrap and the fabric is a lot more breathable thinner and stretchy. For a structured carrier we use the beluga baby cove carrier. There's a lot of brands, research in the baby wearing sub and make sure you get one that's hip friendly.

Clek liing for the infant car seat. The load plus quality of material (no flame retardants) are what sold me on it plus it's made in Canada. Note, safety testing in Canada is stringent so every company must meet it for their car seats however some do go above and beyond as opposed to the minimum. For a stroller, we use a bumbleride era. It uses OEKO-Tex certified material, has no flame-retardants, is PFAS free and is made with sustainable material. It doesn't fold with 1 hand, however she's a beast. It has a full suspension, air filled tires and can handle snow, slush, mud and gravel. I can push it on grass, one handed with no issues. Can't say that about a lot of other strollers. I'd say identify what your musts are and go from there. For me it was safety and the quality of material used.

Can't speak on the Uppababy strollers but we got the bumbleride era. It has air filled tires, an all wheel suspension and the seat reclines all the way through so you can use it as young as newborn (we got the infant insert so it's a bit more snug). I've tested it in snow, slush, mud, gravel and sidewalk. No issues and with the exception of deep mud or very deep slush, I could push it with one hand if I wanted. We paired it with the clek liing using the adapters.

If you have the room, highly recommend just getting either a mini crib or putting the crib in your room. You're not supposed to use the bassinet once baby starts rolling even if they don't meet the maximum weight criteria. That can be as early as 3ish months if you've got an early roller. I love the ikea singlar. No paint and it's a smooth finish, best bang for your buck. Clek liing car seat and we love the bumbleride era. The liing is compatible with a bunch of stollers, you just need the appropriate adapter.

I then got an Uppababy for my travel stroller which stays in the car mostly (put it on my registry).

Check out the Graco Gomax infant seat. its designed exactly for this an CPSTs in the US love it. It also has a really light weight stroller frame to go with it. [https://www.gracobaby.com/shop/car-seats/infant-car-seats/gomax-baseless-infant-car-seat-ft.-insta-install-rigid-latch/SAP\_2219741.html](https://www.gracobaby.com/shop/car-seats/infant-car-seats/gomax-baseless-infant-car-seat-ft.-insta-install-rigid-latch/SAP_2219741.html) It doesnt have a big basket from pictures but a lot of the strollers with big baskets are soooo heavy. Carrying baby, carseat and a stroller is a lot especially in an Uber. PLus you have to unload the stroller in to the uber to fold the stroller up anyway. But it would work with any of the graco strollers and they have a ton of options. or a Graco adapter for another stroller. Adapters seem like a giant pain but they really arnt that bad. Personally i have two strollers. A car stroller and a walking/all terrain stroller. i have a Baby Jogger City Tour 2 in my car and a Bumbleride Era. It has a lay flat stroller seat and we added on the infant insert for that stage. The Era is great. i absolutely love it unless im taking it in an out of the car all the time. then it's just to heavy which is why i have the baby jogger that i keep in the car.

I have a Bumbleride and an Uppababy and honestly, if I had to have just one I'd go with the Uppababy with the newborn insert. The bumbleride is great but just very heavy and bulky! We did a Nuna car seat because I liked the materials. We did an Uppababy stroller and I feel great about it, I think that it's one of those things that's worth being moderate about, personally.

So I have the yoyo and the newborn bassinet attachment, not the newborn pack, but both have a weight limit of 19.8 lb, which my LO is on the cusp of outgrowing at 9 weeks also at 22inches. We really loved the stroller and still use it with the car seat adapters for quick trips and doctor visits. Recently we bought a Bumbleride Era and it's amazing! True complete recline, can adjust flaps for bassinet like seat and so much room to grow. The best sun canopy I've ever seen (the yoyo one is a joke honestly) and excellent wheels for any terrain. We recently took it to the park and it was so great. My LO passed out and daily walks have now become our favorite. I wish we had gotten it first, but will use the yoyo for future travel and daycare when LO is older.

Same for us and also. November baby. It was great with the snow! I sometimes go into stores or on transit with it and it's fine, a little tight in some small stores and a bit tight on transit in rush hour. I liked the era because it can parent face or world face. I loved the newborn lay flat feature so we didn't need a bassinet.

I live in Edmonton and we get a ton of snow that doesn't get plowed fast enough and I never get stuck in the snow, it has a built in bassinet and the seat is reversible and it's classified as All Terrain. I took it to the dog park a couple times and trails and it handled so smoothly.

You'll pry my Bumbleride out of my cold dead hands. My Graco was fine until my twins wanted out of their car seats around 6 months. Then I quickly upgraded. Having all terrain tires and being able to push with one hand is so nice too. The Graco is just kinda unwieldy.

I'm also in Ottawa. I wouldn't bother buying a "travel system". Find a stroller that you love and get an adapter for the car seat if you aren't really a winter person then I would go for something that you find easy to get in an out of your car for going places. We have a all terrain stroller ( Bumbleride Era) for walks around home and then a car stroller( baby jogger city tour 2) that is way easier for me to get in out of the car. It's great for going to the museum etc. The Ottawa Facebook marketplace has a ton of strollers available usually and second hand can be an awesome option. We used a Chicco keyfit car seat with an adapter with the Era but it has a lay flat seat as well.its just way to heavy to pop to the grocery store etc so that's why we got the city tour.

I love our bumbleride era. I walk just about every day and we've owned it for 4 years (2kids), still going strong. The tires are very easy to pump and we even replaced an inner tube once no problem. Edit: that said I agree with comments saying trails and strollers are a challenging combo. Gravel is fine, but exposed tree roots? Just get a baby carrier.

With the bassinet like flaps from the top I measure 30 inches, without the flaps, 36 inches and you can see what I mean by [flaps](https://bumbleride.com/products/era-reversible-stroller?variant=42141442179183&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22154387003&gclid=Cj0KCQjwgvnCBhCqARIsADBLZoJkyExuJxI6LFDUnzQBQOb14dpbZprD7KFj_bGX9ei1NtFT_skS-h0aAiE1EALw_wcB) here. Unless your baby is really young, I don't think the flaps are too necessary because the footboard is adjustable to hold baby's legs up. I have only ever tried my friends uppababy Cruz and no comparison. I actually prefer the smooth ride the yoyo offers. The Bumbleride has actual rubber wheels with air filled tires (pump included and you can replace them or the inner tube as needed for punctures) so they're real wheels and not the plastic ones you usually get. We've gone over uneven pavement, bumps, rocks, grass and sand and baby doesn't feel a thing. Bumbleride has [authorized retailers](https://bumbleride.com/pages/store-locator-online-retailers) you can look near you and test them out in person. The other one we considered was the Indie, but the Era has a seat you can move to face you or world and that's what sold us. It is a bigger stroller than the Cruz, probably more like the vista, but only has a single seat capability, but does have a ride on board attachment for toddlers.

I would check out the [bumbleride era](https://canada.bumbleride.com/products/era-reversible-stroller-new?variant=45344132923584). High quality and the suspension is top notch. No need for a separate bassinet, it lays flat enough for an infant and converts into a bassinet itself. I believe the bugaboo fox is not compatible with a lot of car seats either which idk if that's something you're looking for. The era can be used with car seats you just have to purchase separate adapters, which I like because I can choose what car seat I want and I'm not forced to get that same branded one. I have the indie which is just the 3 wheel jogger version but it's the smoothest pushing stroller. You don't realize how many bumps you go over even on concrete until you have a crappy plastic wheeled stroller.

You are in the city so the uppababy could work. With this stroller you need to purchase the bassinet separately though as far as I understand. But another alternative you can also take a peek at the [Bumbleride Era](https://canada.bumbleride.com/products/era-reversible-stroller-new). This stroller comes standard with a bassinet built into it (it's a couple snaps already in the fabric) that can be forward or parent facing. You can then have the toddler part face you or forward as well. This is all just one stroller with nothing extra needed for all these features. To add a car seat, you just need the attachment that is build for the specific car seat brand that is sold on the bumbleride canada website directly for $50. Most car seat brands are compatible with this stroller as long as you have the correct attachment, so you're not forced to use a specific brand of carseat if you don't want to. (Ie using an inexpensive graco car seat vs a high end one). I found the car seat attachment super quick to use even though it's not a built in part of the stroller.

We had the bumbleride era too and it was fantastic! The wheels have been great in all weather including snowy days. Also the canopy is really good, there's an extra flap that flips out for excellent coverage. I've found it pretty manageable to maneuver onto streetcars as well once you get used to it. I really love that you can switch it from parent to world facing, that's why I picked it over the bumbleride indie. My only critique is that the storage basket is not as large as some other strollers and the supports are placed in such a way that it's a bit hard to put large bulky items in. I haven't found that super impactful personally, we use a smaller diaper bag (the Herschel one), and I order big grocery stock ups for delivery (PC express). Can't advise where to buy it though, I got lucky and got it off FB marketplace basically new in the box.

I also live on Vancouver island and almost got sucked in to the Vista stroller popularity. I ended up going with a Bumbleride era and a compact travel stroller to keep in the car. So happy with my decision. The Bumbleride works great from birth by creating its own bassinet so you don't need any extra attachments (or components to store once baby upgrades to a normal seat). The air filled tires are great on all terrain. We eventually bought a compact stroller for international travel and are also loving it for keeping in the car for quick trips to downtown (so much easier to navigate in stores and restaurants/coffee shops). We got the ergo metro +. The new version of the Uppa Baby travel stroller does look really good though. Most strollers can be purchased second hand! I'd recommend a Bumbleride or Thule if you plan to do much outdoor walking, and a compact travel stroller.
