I mean there isn't any data published. At best you will get anecdotal stories which aren't particularly insightful. Presumably, 99.9% of people who bring strollers have no issues. I have bought higher end strollers (Uppababy, Bugaboo) in a dozen times and had no issues. I use an AirTag, mostly because once or twice cast members have moved them (or my spouse parked it, but I retrieved it) and it's helpful. Personally, I think the concerns about stroller theft are overblown. It's a highly secure and monitored area, that costs hundreds of dollars to enter. I think items in strollers is more common, but even that I think is rampant. Anecdotally I've had no issues and leave both my stroller and items in it unattended for long durations. But, again, without data we are all just speculating.
r/DisneyPlanning • How common is stroller theft these days? ->I've literally never seen them there and I spent many hours there trying to convince myself I needed and could afford a Bugaboo. (Surprise to no one, I didn't and I couldn't! Lol) Nuna, Uppababy, Silver Cross, Thule, Doona, Joolz, Cybex, sure. Chicco? Never. Maybe this is a new development? 🤷ðŸ»â™€ï¸
r/nycparents • Where to see non-luxury strollers in-person ->UPDATE: moved comment to where it belonged 🤦ðŸ»â™€ï¸ sorry, OP! You're providing valuable information and I wasn't negating you at all! Original comment kept below, but meant as a reply to a different comment. ----- I've literally never seen them there and I spent many hours there trying to convince myself I needed and could afford a Bugaboo. r/nycparents • Where to see non-luxury strollers in-person ->Doona then bugaboo here, found it easier to collapse one handed than the yoyo
r/AskSF • Parents Question --Which Stroller to buy for SF living? ->The one I own now bugaboo fox 5 but if all I cared about was style I'd get the silver cross reef 2
r/Buyingforbaby • If you could have any stroller... ->Joolz is great and light but not wonderful off of well-paved even roads. We have a bugaboo fox and a joolz aer plus and we use both for different needs. I also suggest getting the bassinet.
r/Buyingforbaby • Joolz aer 2 as primary stroller? ->I love my Bugaboo Fox
r/beyondthebump • Best off-roading stroller for a newborn ->My wife and I are also torn between the cove and fox 5. One thing we liked about the Cove is that you get a separate bassinet and seat whereas th Fox 5 uses the fabric from The bassinet for the seat. The seat on the Cove lays near flat whereas the Fox 5 it doesn't(I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure it doesn't). We found the Silvercross felt lighter and looked better than the Fox 5. The only thing we liked about the fox 5 in comparison to the silver cross was the bassinet collapsed however, it was significantly heavier than the silver cross' bassinet

Go on Facebook marketplace put in the posh brands and get them second hand, got a £1,000 bugaboo fox for £200, plus a baby zen yo-yo travel pram, £700 new for £100
r/NewParents • Is everyone on baby/parenting subs rich?!? ->I totally feel you, picking out a stroller was overwhelming!!! It's the only item we purchased new (everything else is had me down and second hand) but we thought if we are using it daily for 4 years it'll pay off. We're also living in the city (no car) and so will be using the buggy a lot. We've looked at Bugaboo, Cybex, Nuna and Joolz (which seems to be suuuuper trendy now here in Europe). My conclusion after a ton of research and visiting stores was that at this price point and looking at the similar models, they are really all the same, with the same features😅 I liked the bugaboo fox design the most, it was slightly more expensive than the rest but I found a website sale and got it 40% off. However it is clear, that this will be more of a bigger, sturdy everyday stroller in town. They all fold quite big, and are heavy. I definitely see that we will need a lightweight travel one pretty soon that folds small for flying and road trips. Like a bugaboo firefly or joolz air.
r/BabyBumps • Strollers (please let me here your thoughts on NUNA, Uppa and Bugaboo I am overwhelmed with anxiety) ->Our first went into the convertible seat at around 7-8 months, she HATED the infant seat. It was worth it to us. She's almost 5 now and we still use it as intended. I'm kicking around not using the infant seat for baby 2. Stroller? I got a barely used Bugaboo for $200 and it's been a dream. Smooth handling, one hand steering, I do not regret that. Will be using for surprise baby 2. Crib? No. When she was ready we put her directly in a larger bed so we could lay with her when needed. I got a cheaper brand crib and had zero issues. Same with the mattress.
r/BabyBumps • View on Reddit →It's wild and honestly made me feel a little bad for buying second hand 😂 but tbh second hand was fun we got to try out many different brands LOL buy and sell. Gotta say the yoyo and bugaboo strollers weren't really our favourites despite the popularity.
r/NewParents • View on Reddit →Definitely invest in a good pram first since they generally last longer and more sturdy but I would get it second hand. Not worth paying thousands of dollars if a second hand one does the trick! I initially wanted the bugaboo but I couldn't justify myself paying thousands of dollars for brand new one and I felt awful asking my parents to buy it since they were offering to buy a pram as a gift. So we decided on the steelcraft which we had no issues with and used it up till bubs was about 3 then we purchased a travel stroller (baby jogger tour 2) to travel overseas. When I was pregnant with my second, we saw a second hand bugaboo for sale and purchased it. No regrets at all and I did a lot of research on that specific model and they are the best in my opinion for "off roading". But it all comes down to how many kids you are planning to have, their age gap, and how often you use the pram/stroller. Our kids are 4 years a part so getting any double pram was useless since our 4 almost 5 year old (15kgs) would be too heavy for the second seat anyways. Most prams seat limit are probably between 17-23kgs so keep that in mind and check the limit. Prams are good for going on your daily walk or big trips like to the zoo or a park since it will be easier to push on uneven ground, more comfortable and generally have much more storage compared to the strollers. Strollers are great for travel and bigger kids. We used it when we had to run to the shops quickly or going out for lunch. Something easy to take out quickly but can be purchased later down the track.
r/NewParents • View on Reddit →A few people in my family are pediatric PTs, so I got a lot of advice from them about hip and foot development! While our baby was an infant: * We used a soft baby carrier (Moby wrap) which fits infants well and supports their head! * We clipped the car seat into the stroller but never kept her in it more than 2 hours total * She HATED lay flat pram type strollers. We had a bugaboo, but only used it 2-3 times. Otherwise I'd babywear. So you might want to see what they're like or try out strollers (loan, used, in the store) once you have the baby before shelling out money on it! When she was older (4-6+ months): * She liked the ergobaby Omni carrier, but she was at a weird height, and we didn't use it as much as we planned. I've heard that outward facing isn't great for hips, but unfortunately that was her favorite direction. * We got a Hope and Plum carrier that was inward facing. She loved this! We loaned it to a friend. Their baby hated it! There are carrier loaning libraries and companies where you can try carriers before shelling out on anything expensive. * We started to use more of a travel stroller (think joolz aer) around 6 months. It was nice to have a stroller we could fly with that was smaller. If we'd kept a pram stroller, we couldn't have flown with it! * We never used jolly jumpers or bumbo seats. These are what I heard more concerns about re: hip dysplasia. I've heard upseats are better for this than bumbo. * We used a baby Bjorn bouncer, but never kept her in it over 15 minutes.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • View on Reddit →Nope, that would be great! Online. Their strollers are absolute best! The quality is superior. Only con is you have to assembly yourself and no store. Customer service is great!
r/nycparents • View on Reddit →Ooh always interesting to be nosy at what others found useful! I've just gone back to work after mat leave. A few comments/additions if you don't mind: - People either love poppers or zips on baby grows. We were big fans of zips and I don't think you can go wrong with Baby MORI - if you join their sleep club these work out a lot more affordable and are wonderfully soft. Also agree on their sleeping bags, pramsuits etc. my favorite baby brand. - Seraphine (went bust - you can still buy their things at Next) are great for hospital and breastfeeding nighties / tops. Also just general maternity clothes. - Dock-a-tot sleepyheads are no longer encouraged under safe sleep guidelines. - We love our Stokke Tripp-Trapp. If you look on John Lewis you can often get the baby set free. - Pramworld website worth looking on for all of the big purchases. We got £500 off our pram bundle (Bugaboo Fox - would recommend if you are suburban/rural, potentially not for inner city for space purposes as is like the SUV of prams) - For baby carriers, we really liked the Ergobaby Embrace for newborn and then Omni 360 after about 4 months. For the style driven you may want to look at Artipoppe. - Anything Binibamba if you want a luxurious present for new parents / babies. - A lot of Americans on Reddit discuss Snoo bassinets which basically automatically rocks to help soothe newborns to support sleep. We never needed this but new parents who are considering it should know they can also be rented. - Rockit and Snoozeshade to help promote naps on the go. - We found having a separate travel pram super useful for holidays and to keep in the car boot for when baby can sit upright. The Joolz Aer+ / Aer2 can fit into the overhead for most airlines and we have no complaints. - Unless you are confident you want to pump, I would suggest waiting to buy a breast pump until baby is here and you see how breastfeeding is going. I needed to for a short while and could buy the midwife recommended pump directly from the maternity ward (and at a discount). - Also make sure you join the baby club on Amazon as you can get 15% off a lot of things.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →I've used the Minu V2 with UB Mesa car seat as my stroller system since birth, and my husband and I both love it. We use it every day. I was weighing between the Bugaboo vs Minu. Compared to the Bugaboo, the Minu feels sturdier and was a better option for my tall husband. (The Bugaboo's wheels are a bit smaller/narrower so he would kick them. The handlebar is also lower on the Bugaboo.) I've taken the Minu to Disney, down cobblestone, and short grass and it does fine. Obviously it's not going to be as smooth of a ride over uneven terrain as a full-size stroller, but it doesn't give you issues/get stuck on terrain. My friend has the Bugaboo that seems to get stuck more often.. but overall they're both such high quality with very similar folds, etc.
r/Buyingforbaby • View on Reddit →Not sure how much you need a stroller bassinet for a winter baby, but ours served us well in the summer and it did provide an easy option to take with us to grandparents' house/cottages for the baby to nap in. We have a bugaboo fox and no complaints so far.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • View on Reddit →Anything will work in the city, don't overthink it. And for hikes, I think any stroller will quickly feel annoying on anything else than concrete, but both stroller will be very fine for the occasional gravel street. If there's more terrain I think you'll quickly drop the stroller to go with a baby carrier anyway. I have a 2nd hand bugaboo cameleon 3 and a 5w old and so far I don't really care about more recent stroller features. The only one I really appreciate is being able to move the handle to both sides of the bassinet, so that if I walk downhill I can easily have the baby stay with the head higher than the body, otherwise she'll regurgitate in no time.
r/askswitzerland • View on Reddit →Happy to help! For the muddier/steeper dog walks, a carrier is also a good option (ergobaby when they're little, and an osprey when they're older), but you really won't regret getting a fox 5 (and I'd recommend a bugaboo butterfly too, as it's useful to have a travel buggy as backup for trips). Best of luck with your new arrival!
r/UKParenting • View on Reddit →Im due during fall, im going to buy the bugaboo fox. Perfect wheels for snow, it comes with a huge bassinet that you can use way up to 3 months!
r/BabyBumpsCanada • View on Reddit →We have a bugaboo fox and we love it. However it's definitely not "lightweight and compact" so keep that in mind
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • View on Reddit →I have a lot. I got almost all of the used. I have a Yoyo which is my favorite for my toddler, it folds up so small that I got for $150 at a yard sale, a Bob jogging stroller which is great for rough terrain, an Uppababy double stroller so my 4 month old and 2 year old can both go in it, a wagon which is so heavy but good for multiple kids, I just bought a colugo compact for using days if use the yoyo because it folds up small too. I had 2 other Bob stroller that I got free so I gave one to my brother, I got a bugaboo from a church sale that I gave to my brother, I had a colugo complete which I really liked but it was so heavy so I'm selling that, I have a Graco stroller that my older son hated and I have the base stroller that works with the newborn car seat. My husband and everyone says it's crazy to have so many but the first stroller we had, the Graco, was terrible and my son cried the entire time in it. He was so hot. I finally tried a different stroller when he was like 18 months old and he didn't cry, he also didn't overheat. I feel like I'm forgetting a stroller haha I really went through so many before finding what works. I wish I could find another yoyo for that price, that is a great stroller but they're so expensive new. The Uppababy is good but it's so heavy, I've only used that from the house around the neighborhood. I wouldn't want to get that in and out of a car.
r/Mommit • View on Reddit →Just purchased a Bugaboo Fox. I'm moving to Europe with my newborn, and wanted a smoother ride on cobblestone. I also won't have a car so I plan on using it a lot. Curious if anyone has a good or bad review? Or a favorite for Europe? I tried the Uppa Baby and hated how it folded, so I decided not to get it. But I can always return my Bugaboo
r/BabyBumps • View on Reddit →We were given a hand-me-down (baby jogger) which is very appreciated. However if money was no issue, I would have gone bugaboo. The user design is just so good. And one hand folding/unfolding action is just so nice. When it's a stroller and folded it also doesn't take up much space which was key for us in the city.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • View on Reddit →I think this will depend hugely on your lifestyle and how much you want to spend. Definitely go try them out. John Lewis are great, mamas and papas too. Have a go steering, folding and unfolding etc. I would also say it's probably a bit like wedding dress shopping, don't try things that are out of your budget because it might make the things that are in budget feel a bit less appealing. (Also you could plan to try something more expensive but then buy second hand, there are brilliant refurbished options). We went for bugaboo fox 5 and a cybex cloud T I size (I think!) very happy with this setup so far. The old fox 5 model can be bought much cheaper now that they bought out the new fabrics for the renew. Positives: We wanted a pram that worked well for difficult terrain because I have dogs. This basically wholly governed the system we went for. I wear my babe most of the time for walks but wanted a pram that could be used in the woods, fields etc. I also wanted something that could be steered easily with one hand (leaving a hand for dog lead) and could be folded and unfolded one handed. Fox does all that well IMO. The cybex reclining almost flat is brilliant for popping into a shop without needing to disturb babe moving them into the bassinet. I also can't imagine not being able to rotate the car seat to get them in and out. It's a game changer. Made it much more comfortable for me especially post C-section. Negatives: I will say the bugaboo fox is heavy (although it doesn't bother me). It also is big, we have a large estate style boot in our car and the pram still takes up almost all of it when using the bassinet. It would be terrible if you lived in a flat and needed to store it in the house and take it up and down stairs etc. I think we will probably get a light travel pram second hand for weekends away or any international travel for this reason. Good luck!
r/BeyondTheBumpUK • View on Reddit →For shopping my favorite is Bugaboo Fox 5 For traveling and stuffing in the car Joolz Aer2
r/TheHague • View on Reddit →The Fox is the daily driver, but the cheap folder for flying has been a game changer for portability. That's the one that makes it in the back of the car now for daily life.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →Just FYI (if you already got the car seat) check the length of the seatbelts. We got the full Bugaboo fox 5 set with turtle air and I've always felt that sth was off because one seatbelt seemed more loose. Turns out one seatbelt was few centimetres longer than the other and there's no way to adjust it🙃
r/Buyingforbaby • View on Reddit →Bugaboo Fox är fantastisk i vardagen. Sedan kan jag ocksÃ¥ rekommendera Bugaboo Butterfly som vardagsvagn när ungen är större och inte minst vid resor.
r/stockholm • View on Reddit →We have the bugaboo fox 5 and we're really happy with it. I think we tried out every pram in the UK before deciding! It pushes really nicely. The bassinet is bulky in the car though. It depends on your lifestyle. I wouldn't want to be taking it on the underground but we live in the North West in a semi-rural location and it's absolutely ideal
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →We did the Bugaboo Fox 5. Its amazing, super sleek & compact but the wheels are all-terrain. Also works with our car seat!
r/BabyBumps • View on Reddit →Bugaboo Dragonfly is a lightweight alternative to Vista. We have the Fox and love it but a lot of my city friends opted for the Dragonfly. You still get the bassinet for the first 5-6 months and then also the seat!

r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →Albee baby has almost all the models. That's where we got our bugaboo
r/nycparents • View on Reddit →We have Bugaboo. It's sturdy, can carry a lot. But huge. Even when folded, you need a big car to carry it around.
r/parentsofmultiples • View on Reddit →just spent a month researching. my takeaway: Nuna - loved this one the most (mixx or trvl xl) but all of the carseats/accesories make it extra pricey. my fav uber premium option uppababy- i found these all to be kind of rigid and too large. didn't like the vibe but its obvs popular mockingbird - decided on this one and so far love the balance of quality and price point. truly feels strong but also premium, while not being huge, and almost all the features feel obvious instead of buried silver cross - if you really want to go with the most premium it is indeed very nice. graco Modes nest - solid budget option. felt a little on the light/fragile side for me but if lightweight with versatility is important, this one isn't bad at all bugaboo - maybe the one i tried was a janky floor model but i didn't think it was smooth at all. nuna/mock crushed it
r/beyondthebump • View on Reddit →This could/should be your travel pram (I love mine) but judging by the others you like, I think you are also after a more sturdy traditional pram which I would recommend particularly for newborn phase. I would second the calls for either the Bugaboo Fox or UppaBaby Vista. Very reliable, sturdy and spacious.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →Bugaboo is great, had one for both kids, if you wish we have one for sale, all black only used with one child. Dm if interested
r/geneva • View on Reddit →This is really good advice. We use the bugaboo butterfly way more than the bugaboo fox
r/moderatelygranolamoms • View on Reddit →Prefer the higher end strollers myself like Bugaboo, Nuna, Uppababy. But car seat? No just get what has a good safety rating and it's in your budget. I have a bugaboo stroller and a Graco convertible car seat. Didn't bother with a car seat that attaches to the stroller because the stroller I bought has a bassinet in the package. I don't mind transferring baby.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • View on Reddit →We had to go through a popular full size stroller for us to find out the hard way - had to buy a second stroller - that vista is way too large and heavy, and takes up the entire trunk of a car - we went with the bugaboo fox 5 and it's significantly better for day to day.
r/nycparents • View on Reddit →We have the bugaboo fox 5, it's expensive but to me it's worth it. Safe, sturdy, easy to put in the car, great in parks / city / cobble stone walks etc, lots of good storage, now our son is sitting up he loves being out and about (it's also easy to recline when he falls asleep). I know it's a lot of money, we live where we can walk everywhere so we get a lot of use out of it. That's how I justified it anyway!!
r/beyondthebump • View on Reddit →Huge thumbs up for the Fox 5. We live rurally and take ours everywhere. It's amazing. My partner and I often comment that it was the best money we've spent on 'kids stuff' so far. Love it.
r/UKParenting • View on Reddit →We use two...Bugaboo Fox for everyday and Mountain Buggy Nano for traveling
r/BabyBumpsCanada • View on Reddit →We've had a bugaboo fox for 3 years (almost 4) and have been super happy. We used it with the Nuna Pipa car seat. It's held up great, have never replaced anything and we walk daily. We live in southwestern Ontario and have used it through heavy snow. It's not perfect in heavy snow but no stroller is. I did also get an Uppababy minu to keep in the car. Would have gone butterfly but couldn't justify the extra $200. When we had our second we kept using the bugaboo for solo walks and added a piggyback board for shorter walks. I wanted a bugaboo donkey when our second came along but couldn't justifying paying for a new one or even a used one at the price they go for in my area. We landed on a bumbleride indie twin for our double and have loved it! Still no regrets with our bugaboo and it's held up really well for us.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • View on Reddit →My time to shine as I've bought way too many prams (let's just ignore that financial irresponsibility). A few questions to ask yourself: - Will you want more than one kid? - How is the access to your house - Where do you live and how do you go out and about I will list some pros and cons for the ones I've had. - Yoyo - small canopy and smaller overall for a pram, even for a compact one, airline compliant, it does require two hands to fold it down - I've had two of these, one with me and one with my parents, ended up using a couple of times each - terrible on cobblestone - Joolz Aer+ - my favourite compact one, the canopy is huge (meaning that you can extend it to get the baby to sleep and almost no light passes) more stable and has significantly more space than the yoyo, lays down flat. It is also possible to fold it with one hand and carry it on the side on the tube - Icandy orange - if you want kids close by this will save you a few headaches. You can transform it into a double and it has an integrated buggy board, the basket holds a lot and it is easy access (seats are quite small), the sweet spot for this one is when your second kid is between 6 months and 16 months and your oldest is too big for a pram but can't walk a lot (between 2.5 and 4 I would say). The integrated buggy board for perfect for us during these months - other parents were kicking their buggy boards and always having to lift it up, walking on the side of the pram and I was cruising. I believe they have a new version now that icandy core? Which has an integrated buggy board and possibility of having different wheels. This pram is very bulky but great for country side walks, very stable, height adjustable handle. Again, very bulky but hey, a child can even fit on the basket - Bugaboo fox - amazing canopy, again, if your baby naps on the pram, you want this. Better looking than the Icandy Orange. Still behaves pretty well "off road". Folds a bit smaller than the Icandy and the seat fits a bigger child when comparing to the Icandy (I would say a much bigger child). If you are planning for one child only I would go with this one as a big pram. For 2, you will have to add an annoying buggy board that will be kicked and will be uncomfortable. Still bulky and not practical going up and down stairs but better than the Icandy - Double Britax - fits 2 kids up to 22kg each, got it for a holiday, used twice, easy to maneuver but very bulky, one more mm and would not fit on our garden door - if you need a double pram it is a good solution but if not twins you are probably better with a normal one. The canopy extends but it is mesh on the top, therefore light still passes (but you can see the children) - Out n About runner - very stable, I don't run but this is very cool and stable. We usually use it for travelling by train or when we feel like a bigger pram will be needed. It can fit two children sitting inside - a 4 yo can still nap inside if required. Very short canopy And I think these are the most relevant. If you are only going to buy one, I would say the Joolz aer, it is quite stable for a small pram and spacious as well. I, somehow, never liked any silvercross but I do see some people with it, for me, they never had a feature that would make me buy them (and I bought a lot of prams)
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →Bugaboo Fox är absolut vanligast.
r/stockholm • View on Reddit →Bugaboo Fox still going strong on child #3. Yoyo is super portable, the Fox is like a tank and just keeps going.
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • View on Reddit →Depends how your going to be using your stroller. If your going to be walking/jogging down that dirt road regularly or be in rural areas a lot, your gonna want some sort of jogger stroller or something with inflatable wheels. If your going to keep it in your vehicle and use it for when your going shopping in the city, going out to eat, and use it for an urban sort of lifestyle, with tad bits of times you walk the stroller on gravel, grass, etc, maybe a good all terrain full stroller with good suspension like Uppababy Cruz, Nuna Mixx Next, Bugaboo Fox 5. If you want something more budget friendly in this category maybe the Chicco Corso or Bravo stroller,Graco Modes Nest 2 grow. Jogger strollers include BabyJogger city mini gt, Thule Urban Glide, Guava Roam, Uppababy Ridge, etc. A carseat is 100% necessary, so no matter what, that should be the 1st thing you look at. Find 1 you like, then look at what strollers its compatible with (usually you might have to buy a separate adapter if you use a different brand of carseat from the stroller). You can always look at what strollers already come as part of a bundled travel system with that carseat. But before you even get started looking at carseats, you need to make a decision ifbyour going to use an Infant Carseat (pill bug looking seats), or a convertible carseat (the big ones that stay in a vehicle), or both.
