Buy the Coway air mega it usually goes on sale pretty often. 10/10
r/CleaningTips • Air Purifier sucking dust in my room ->We have two Coway Airmega units, one on either side of the house. They have been on 24/7 for several years now. Maintenance and cleaning are very minimal. Cost is about $150-200, although there are larger units based on how big of an area you need to filter. We are very happy with them! Whichever purifier you choose, I highly recommend you look into one with a replaceable HEPA filter. Other filtration methods just won't give the same results.
r/homeowners • What are the best air purifiers for home currently? Do you notice any difference when using them? ->This is the only correct answer. Don't get air mega aim tho that's a scam
r/BuyItForLife • The REAL best air purifier - I HATE DUST! ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS

When I turn the purifier off, the indoor reading goes back up to match the balcony level. So the purifier is clearly making a big difference.
r/dubai • Air purifier recommendations? ->firstly-whatever you want a 'purifier' to filter out has to be able to get to, into and through the device. i've yet to see a consumer level air filter that's strong enough to stir dog hair/dander up off the floor. for dust ? they all suck. i'm in colorado, very dusty area. they all suck. any good filter will clog quickly by definition. remember that ;) having said that, i use a coway 'airmega' in my bedroom and i'm fairly pleased w/ it. has a carbon pad for odors, filters out some dust, smoke, etc. they will all have yearly filter costs-generally anywhere from 50-200 bux/yr., mebbe ? none of them that i've seen are anything to sneeze at. ;-p
r/PetPeeves • What air purifier are you using for your pets? Need recommendations! ->Agreed! And they now offer different filters depending on what is most important to you to filter: one for smoke, one for allergens, etc.
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Air Purifiers? ->Coway airmega it's excellent. I have mine going 24 hours a day and it senses everything. It also filters the tiniest particles.
r/AirPurifiers • Air purifier recommendations? ->The airmega. You can buy filters specifically for dust. There's 3 different types of filters i believe you can buy, the original and two more alternatives
r/AirPurifiers • Air purifier recommendations? ->Have the IQ air does not catch dust or similar. I ended up buying a.Blue air that does and running both. The air quality that comes out of the IQ air is excellent, but if dust is your issue, is not gonna help. Blue air smells like plastic in comparison.. tried the Conway and there was so much plastic offgassing. I returned it..
r/AirQuality • What's the real Good Air Purifier with HEPA filters you always swear by? ->I got a Coway Airmega because it was highly reviewed on the Wirecutter website after my previous Levoit broke after only a couple years and wasn't fixable (circuit board inside was fried).
r/parrots • Any recommendations for air purifiers? Ignore the mess, I'm currently in the middle of a deep clean in my room. ->Another vote for Coway Airmega. I've had several since 2020 and still going strong.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →I just recently bought 2 coway airmegas. No smell at all.
r/AirPurifiers • View on Reddit →Coway 400S. Best air filter we have ever owned. We have 4 of them in a 4000+ square for house where we foster cats (10+ at any time,) and the amount of fur, dust, and general particles it filters out is amazing. Friends who are severely allergic to cats come over with zero issues with these filters running.
r/Home • View on Reddit →I agree with others. Coway. Which model really just comes down to size of room they all use the same type of filter (though sometimes different sizes). I have a couple AirMega 300/400s because I have a big open space and they've been great. But the smaller ones are the same tech and filter type, just smaller.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →I have a coway airmega in the middle of a ~1k sq ft apartment. It frequently turns on a higher cycle after we cook on the gas stove down the hall
r/AskNYC • View on Reddit →I've got two cats and a golden retriever, so air purifiers became non-negotiable for me. The one that's made the biggest difference is the Coway Airmega 400S.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • View on Reddit →[link to them on Amazon](https://a.co/d/iQKjYKh) Unfortunately, we got ours on Amazon - we've been trying to avoid buying from Amazon after Bezos decided to censor his newspaper (New York Post,) but regardless, these machines are built extremely well. I do not know the specifics on warranty, but we have had two of them for more than six years and two more for more than four years and zero issues with any of them - we just change the filters about once a year and vacuum the filters every other month of so - they pick up a mind blowing about of debris from the air and floor of your house - I'll find large pieces of cat toys (feathers) that (after deduction and piecing things together,) tracked that the debris travelled over several rooms and through doorways over time to get into the outer filter where the big stuff sits to be vacuumed out. 100% Will buy another if something happened to one of ours, which I am assuming will be an accidental incident and not breakdown mechanically - as I said, they are very well built. Edit - looks like a 5 year warranty, but as you will see if you get one, well made and not simple in the way that makes it really well built - fewer, and higher quality parts.
r/Home • View on Reddit →Id say no, proprietary airfilter. I use [https://cowaymega.com/products](https://cowaymega.com/products) and get 3rd party filters to replace it. I also turned it into a fan by using plastic vacuum hose.
r/Costco • View on Reddit →Coway has a better reputation than the models Costco carries. Love our Air Mega. Bought directly from Coway at a steep discount. Just have to wait for sales.
r/Costco • View on Reddit →The Coway airmega is the best overall imo
r/AirQuality • View on Reddit →Coway Airmega; which model depends on the size of the space. Make sure it has a charcoal filter.
r/fednews • View on Reddit →I would also say my Coway Airmega is one of the best investments I have ever made. It's amazing how much it can grab and filter out. They say the filters should last a year, but we have it constantly running in a larger room and probably change the filters every 3-6 months. Closer to 3 when we have the AC wall unit on blast thru the summer. We've also had terrible Smokey days from the Canadian wildfires in my area and when I last replaced my filter, it was almost black so it was working hard! 2 years of having it and no issues.
r/buyforlifetips • View on Reddit →They aren't going to price match 400 price for 400S. The price of 400S hasn't changed.
r/AirPurifiers • View on Reddit →I recommend Coway. Just make sure you are paying attention to the sq ft coverage.
r/delhi • View on Reddit →Ugh. I just bought a 400S a week ago. Should I return and get the 400 instead? I do like that I can tell google to turn it on or off. But it's almost a 200$ convenience.
r/AirPurifiers • View on Reddit →I've been drowning in dog and cat hair until I got a Coway Airmega 400S. Its true HEPA filter grabs fur and dander, and the activated carbon core neutralizes pet odors.
r/Pets • View on Reddit →Anecdotally, I have two big Airmegas running in fairly small spaces and I can't tell a difference in air quality between when they've been running and when they haven't. I don't get what the point is.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →Have the IQ air does not catch dust or similar. I ended up buying a.Blue air that does and running both. r/AirQuality • View on Reddit →Coway airmega gets my vote. Got 2 on amazon since pademic and they've been pretty good by far.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • View on Reddit →I got some Conway ones on sale for a main level and bedroom in my house a while back. My plan was to help alleviate dander, allergens, and fire smoke. I can't say I have any empirical evidence of their efficacy, but I'm glad I have them. If you have a couple hundred bucks and no central air, I think it's worth it.
r/TwinCities • View on Reddit →This is the only correct answer. Don't get air mega aim tho that's a scam
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →We have a 2500 sq ft home so we have several air purifiers. I went off wirecutter's list and got Coway Airmega for the rooms with higher ceilings and Levoit for the kid rooms and office (where the litter box is). We have had them for a year and I'm happy with them. They've significantly cut down on daycare illness transmission within our household. Instead of all 4 of us getting sick it's 1 kid and sometimes 1 parent per illness.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • View on Reddit →Been running coway airmega 24/7 since 2018. Replace the filter every year and bob's your uncle.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →I have the Coway Airmega and an Austin bedroom machine, and they seem to be equally good. The Austin cost significantly more.
r/Allergies • View on Reddit →I have the Coway and had it for the last coupe of years B it I recently switched to the blueair purifier and am very happy. They also happen to look good.
r/AirQuality • View on Reddit →I bought an Airmega for our bedroom a year ago. My wife says my nighttime snoring has almost completely stopped. We ended up being so happy with it we bought another for the DR/LR.
r/TwinCities • View on Reddit →I have a Conway Airmega for my chicken brooder (chickens create a ton of dust as they grow, and they have to be inside for a few weeks cause they don't have feathers yet) and it really cuts down on the dust.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →FYI: the fan on the microwave can still help, there is usually a carbon filter that will need periodic replacement. I just placed a Coway 400s next to my 3D printer. The carbon filter definitely helps when I am printing ABS filament. I also have some older 6 fan Shark towers that are now discontinued. They don't have carbon filters, but still helped a great deal when cooking. For my Cuisinart electric grill, I have a smaller Shark cylinder next to it. When I grill salmon it quickly goes into low air quality (red) mode. The other units on the first floor (two Shark 6 fan towers) also go red and max filtration. Bottom line is that I find air filtration works well, but it does take some time to exchange enough air to reduce the cooking odors. Maybe a half hour with 2 large and one small unit running in auto mode. I think that two well placed Coways would probably exchange enough air to eliminate the odors fairly quickly. Put a smaller unit in the kitchen on the countertop near the stove for even more air exchange.
r/AirPurifiers • View on Reddit →The airmega. The number one pick from wirecutter for years now.
r/AirQuality • View on Reddit →Yeah Coway Airmega works so well. I have S400 and it's been fantastic.
r/smarthome • View on Reddit →I like Coway. Silent, dealt with wildfire smoke perfectly.
r/Masks4All • View on Reddit →Yep, we're a 4 Coway household here too.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →I've got a Coway airmega in our bedroom, and a BlueAir in my office at work. I love both of them... I'm a therapist and work in an 8'x10' room talking to people for an hour 5-6 hours some days. I think the BlueAir is a big reason why I haven't picked up any of the respiratory stuff some clients have come in with (well, that + vaccines + mindful hand washing/sanitizing). It's also pretty quiet which is important to me. I'm planning on picking up another BlueAir or two for the rest of my house this spring. The pricepoint is kinder than my Coway, and it's much quieter.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • View on Reddit →huge fan of Coway Airmega. filters last a long time, it has a mesh prescreen you take out and clean every 3 weeks or so, and it's both quiet and has a good CADR. And it's very slim and doesn't take up much space!
