You can do the whole chicken in the Dome 2, you just have to spatchok it first (cut it so it lays flat). I just got the Dome 2 and so far loving it.
r/AirFryers • Which one ? ->I mean this was what it was for me. I was getting it to replace a basket style (Philips) fryer that was ordered to leave the kitchen because of how it smelled when cooking (relatively easy to clean the basket areas but not the upper element). I decided I wanted to try the Dome 2 and waited for the Better but Fussier half to be out of town. They are very sensitive about counter space and usually have the rule of no appliances consistently on the counter other than the espresso maker. Opening the box I was like, okay let's just keep everything for the because this may have to go back to Amazon because of the size.... But the thing works well. And cleans so much easier than my Philips basket one did. And while it's only prompted me for one self clean cycle so far, it's not producing any of the odors that bugged my partner. It's now allowed a permanent place on the counter, in the corner where it can take up a little more room. My biggest challenge is after preheating it's a bit challenging to get the tray out for loading up without having a way to keep the tray off the counter. Since the tray is hot I don't want it directly on the counter. I did try to do a steak in one because of the reviews of that and while it was okay, it wasn't up to my steak standards (which I usually sous vide and then finish off in a cast iron pan). But it's been great for other stuff.
r/airfryer • Typhur Dome 2 looks like great tech, but is too big ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS

Typhur dome crisps up chicken nicely, I literally butterflied a whole (about 4.5 lb) chicken and put it in there and it had wonderful crispy skin. An air fryer is just a tiny convection oven so if it would work in a convection oven it will work in an air fryer.
r/rant • Every single air fryer recipe is a fucking lie ->Typhur dome is insanely good. It's a constantly used tool. Easy to clean and cooks things fast. And big enough to cook multiple things
r/cookingforbeginners • Thinking of getting an Air Fryer ->Typhur oven has been my favorite so far. Along with the thermometer sync it's bomb
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Air Fryers on the Market to Buy Now? ->We bought a Turboblaze a year ago July. Under warranty we had the crisper plate replaced (non-stick failure) after about 6 months. Then the basket about a month after that. Then the entire unit in July. A large crack appeared in the top of the cooker and the touch screen stopped working. In each instance Cosori was amazing at getting the replacement to us in record time. Their customer service was excellent. After the final failure of the device itself we said screw it and went with a Typher Dome 2. I still have the replacement Turboblaze sealed in the box it was shipped in. Not sure what I will do with it. All that being said, we use the air fryer daily. So it sees a lot of use. We loved it. Other than the aforementioned issues it was an excellent air fryer. We also know a number of folks that have the Turboblaze and have had no issues whatsoever. Sometimes you just get a lemon or one that was built on a Monday or a Friday. It's an awesome looking air fryer as well. Feature wise I only wish it did not have a button to open the basket and I wish it had a flip reminder.
r/airfryer • Loving my Cosori TurboBlaze - 450F is key. ->Agreed. I love it!
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Airfryer to Buy Right Now? ->Buy the gourma 8q from target when it drops below $60. Clean it after every use. If you use it a lot when it comes time to replace it go for the dome 2
r/Cooking • Air Fryer Advice ->I ended up getting the Typhur Dome 2 and have no regrets. I like the coated stainless steel basket and rack, no weird chemical coatings or nonstick stuff to worry about. It's super spacious, runs quietly, and the heat feels even. Overall just feels solid and well-made. Pricey, yeah, but for what you get, I think it's been totally worth it.
r/Cooking • The air fryer isn't cutting it for me-what should I get instead? ->No countertop appliance can cook for that many adults any kind of quick. You could upgrade to the typhur dome air fryer which is very wide one that can hold a bunch at once? The downside is its kinda low so the chicken would have to be spatchcocked. A countertop oven probably could do the whole chicken, but even if you have multiple trays more than 1 stop even cooking from happening since the food is so close to the heating elements unlike a normal sized oven.
r/cookware • Best countertop appliance for cooking wings, pizzas & roast chicken for 7-10 adults? ->I swear by this. Absolutely loved it. Wife, who NEVER used the old air fryer, uses it.
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Airfryer to Buy Right Now? ->Typhur Dome 2. Expensive, but quiet. Wait for a sale. Will never buy another.
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Air Fryers on the Market to Buy Now? ->I didn't flip it over; I think that's the purpose behind their design of two heating elements.
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →If budget isn't a problem, I've got to recommend the Typhur Dome 2. It makes pizza and steak really well! I was honestly surprised at how crispy the bottom of the pizza turned out. With other air fryers I've tried, the pizza always ended up kind of soggy, even when I cooked it longer at lower temperature. One downside, though, is that the basket is a bit shallow, so you can't make really tall foods. If you often bake things like fluffy bread, it might not be the best fit for you.
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →My Ninja foodie died so I splurged on the Typhur Dome 2. It has been great so far. Self cleaning and top + bottom elements are fantastic.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →I thought the same thing. I got my a week ago and cannot speak well enough for the Dome 2. Worth losing the space, in my humble opinion. The self cleaning alone is worth it. I can go on, but that's not what you asked for. If you would like to hear more, please let me know. I was upset when I opened the box. Not any more. Let me know.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →I second the Typhur Dome 2, best air fryer I've ever owned.
r/AirFryers • View on Reddit →I've had all kinds of air fryers including the Ninja Foodi Xl, Breville, Gourmia, and other cheap basket air fryers. The best one I've used so far is the Typhur Dome (currently on sale USD300 on Amazon.com). It produces the best results but its basket height limit of just over 2" is the biggest drawback. Otherwise it's very quiet, easy to clean and has been very reliable.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →[Typhur Dome 2](https://www.typhur.com/products/dome-air-fryer) Heating elements at the top and bottom decrease cooking time over a regular air fryer. The cooking basket is wider than it is tall. Big enough to cook a frozen pizza and does a perfect job. It's so quiet I thought it wasn't running the first time I used it. Picked it up on amzn prime day in July and I use it almost daily. Vegetables, burgers, reheating leftovers - almost anything that could go in a microwave now goes in the air fryer. I don't give a rat's ass if you buy one, but this is the one to buy.
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →Typhur Dome 2. I only have the 1st version but it's the best air fryer I've used so far, aside from the basket height limitation. The new version has 2 heat elements so it should be even better. The Breville is often recommended. I've had a few Breville air fryer pros and they were ok but I would not get another one if my main use is for air frying or toasting.
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →Typhur Dome is great for size, but is pretty expensive. In the US, the 8qt single basket Gourmia is $49 - that, plus the one you already have, would give you a lot of cooking space for not much more money.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →Typhur Done 2: I can fit 24 Costco wings into my basket in one layer with space to spare on my first run. [https://photos.app.goo.gl/1HLkw1XVGQamdYzR8](https://photos.app.goo.gl/1HLkw1XVGQamdYzR8) I fit 32 wings in one layer with no extra space, AND they came out wonderfully. I have done 8 bone in skin on chicken breasts in a single sitting, same time, same temp. Extra crispy crunchy skin. Juicy, delicious, and enough for a family of 4. Chicken is back on the menu, boys! Chicken in the air fryer has been set it and forget it. As is burgers, bacon, dogs, French fries or totts, sausages, you name the protein and this thing soars. And it has a self cleaning function. A freaking SELF CLEANING function. Priceless. Does it cost some coin? Sure. And this thing changes, 'Buy once, Cry once' into 'Buy once, cry never.' I love this thing. I don't work with them, this is not sponsored. I just like to buy the best. And this is the best. And it feeds a family of 4 with ease. Edit: Added photo of first wing basket.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →Typhur Dome 2. Yeah, buy once, cry once - Only I bought once and haven't cried yet. GREAT machine, Awesome food.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →The Typhur 2 has been awesome and the basket is super wide too, if you get the timing down you can cook whole meals in it if you're fast enough to add in food at the right time
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →Do you understand how massive a 15 inch pizza is? There are no air fryers with that kind of capacity. That link is to a convection toaster oven, air fryers have their heating element on top. Idk why so many places call convection ovens air fryers, it's marketing BS, these types of ovens were available long before "air fryers" came to market. If you want a small convection oven that can fit a 15 inch pizza and has the air frying marketing BS, this is your best bet: https://www.amazon.com/Gourmia-Digital-Toaster-Single-Pull-French/dp/B0CH9HVK4F If you want an actual air fryer that can cook a 12" pizza and grill a steak better than any other air fryer, I'd recommend a Typhur Dome 2. You won't be able to cook a whole chicken in it because it's shallow. That's why I also have a basket type air fryer if I want to do a whole chicken. If you want an all-in-one oven that actually uses PFAS free ceramic coating then I recommend the Typhur Sync Oven, this is the only oven that I've seen that actually has the fan on top to mimic and actual air fryer correctly. Just keep on mind it will only do 12" pizzas, ovens that can do 15" pizzas will be hard to find because of how massive they are. This one also comes with a built in wireless thermometer. Good bang for the buck IMO: https://www.typhur.com/products/sync-oven
r/AirFryers • View on Reddit →Why not consider Typhur Dome 2? It's way more versatile than I expected; it works like a convection oven, toaster, frying pan, and air fryer all in one. I've used it to crisp up leftover pizza, roast veggies, sear salmon, and even toast bread, and it's handled everything really well. What I like most is how evenly it cooks, especially compared to my old basket-style air fryer. The capacity's also decent, I can fit more without having to do batches. It's a bit pricier than some of the basic models, but if you're looking for something that can actually replace a few other things on your counter, it's been worth it for me.

r/airfryer • View on Reddit →Consider the Typhur Dome for air frying. We just got it and it's truly outstanding plus no plastic near food anywhere.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →Buy the gourma 8q from target when it drops below $60. Clean it after every use. If you use it a lot when it comes time to replace it go for the dome 2
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →We just switched from Cosori Dual Blaze to a Typhur Dome. Mainly because the dome is ceramic rather than non-stick. The amount of cooking area is fantastic. It's super quiet and even without the bottom element some foods will start browning on the underneath. Plus it goes up to 450. Loving it. Only downside is the lack of depth.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →Typhur oven has been my favorite so far. Along with the thermometer sync it's bomb
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →Get a typhur dome 2. Best one on the market. Slightly pricier but blows everything out of the water
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →Typhur Dome air fryer can fit a whole pizza. I love mine.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →I don't think so, these aren't made to fit pizzas, the ones that fit pizzas are much wider and shallower like Typhur. You can fit it only if you cut it.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →The Typhur Dome is easy to clean and has a self cleaning function. I have a review on YouTube, just search "Typhur Dome 2 review"
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →The Typhur dome 2 is pretty quiet but it's like $300

r/Cooking • View on Reddit →Also look into the Typhur Dome 2. I have the Typhur Dome 1 and I'd buy it again. I've also owned the Breville Air Fryer Pro. It was ok but I think it's cheaply made for the price and the convection/air fry fan is loud just like most cheap air fryers.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →I have a Typhur Dome 2 and I love it. Definitely the best air fryer I've ever had. That's outside what you want but I mention it because the one id recommend is what I had before that and it was the Gourmia GAF858. Almost the complete opposite ends of the spectrum as far as price but man if that Gourmia wasn't a workhorse that did everything I tossed at it well. Bit harder to clean and definitely a smaller capacity (Ive had smaller and the Gourmia was a really good middle size)
r/AirFryers • View on Reddit →I think it's pretty fast! Not sure if it's because it has two heating elements, but I cooked about 2 lbs of chicken wings in just 15 minutes without preheating.
