We've had ours that we bought at Costco for 3 years. Daily use if not twice per day because we are saving on gas 😂. I ended up making both pies for thanksgiving (one at a time) in here because the oven was full. Love that it has all the functions and is easy to clean. Preheats faster than a regular oven because it's smaller. We're a family of 3 so if you have a bigger family I would probably suggest a bigger one.

So I have two air fryers. Both are ninjas. One is single and one is dual. I do agree the single is better. It's really convenient to have three air fryers when making something like air fryer chicken, roasted veggies & fresh french fries. I can make all three at the same time and eat at the same time. Super convenient. Also if making wontons and spring rolls. I have a pretty busy job, a young child & a husband who doesn't cook. So for me worth it to have all. I also have enough space in my kitchen.

Yup I did a post on mine several months ago. Definitely takes more time when cooking with both sides and it can be hard to figure out timing. I wish I stuck with my single one.

I just mean in the sense that it cooks a lot slower using both sides vs one so have to figure out timing for stuff to be done. It isn't the usual times I would set when using just one side. Apparently this is an issue in the US due to voltage from what I was told numerous times on my last post. Just wish I knew before I got it. If you're in the US and this one takes just as long when you use both sides, you're lucky I guess. 🤷♀️ i have much longer cook times using both sides than I do with one, or with my one basket ninja I used to have.

Given all the research you've already done, you've probably seen that giant comparison database of air fryers floating around Reddit [here, I bookmarked it](https://www.reddit.com/u/MaterialisticOcelot/s/AuYboNaNB6). It's super handy if you want to line up the details down to the very last spec. I personally have the Ninja Foodi and really like it, but I wouldn't really consider it a "budget" pick since it runs close to $200. That said, I do think you get what you pay for with these. I'd be careful about going under $50 on an appliance you expect to last.

I have had mine over a year now and the stainless color on the handles is fine. Editing to say I have not put mine in the dishwasher though and I am assuming that may be the cause.

Can anyone who has this speak to how difficult it is to clean? I have a similar toaster oven that's larger, but the drip tray and heating elements are a PITA to clean and it's got more space than this one.

I picked up the foil trick way too late on my current one, which is partially why I want to replace it. Buuut my current one still works fine, and I'm not quite convinced the space savings is enough to justify a new one.

Pizza is absolutely what screwed w/ the heating elements on my current one. If they were more easily accessible, it would perhaps be tolerable, but they're not.

Yep! I unfortunately didn't realize how quickly that stuff seems to meld to the racks/tray until too late. In attempts to clean it, the coating on those items started flaking, and now they're just a complete mess, which is partially why I want something new to start over so that I can "do it right."

Ditto, although I have the copper coloured one which (angrily) isn't the same shade of copper as it is on my ninja kettle. I never dishwasher mine. Just stand for a while after use with hot water and a squirt of fairy liquid in it.

I tried that one and didn't like it. Baskets are small and it's less efficient when using both baskets. I went with an Instant Dual Vortex instead, the two baskets are much bigger and running both baskets at the same time does not reduce its efficiency. I love it and use it for almost every meal I cook at home, and I think the dual basket makes it much more useful because I can cook my entree and side dish at the same time.

Honestly if you are comparing between a toaster oven and an air fryer I would get w/e is cheaper and takes up less space. I would maybe look into one of those ninja foodi 6-1 (or w/e brand is available) were you can also saute and slow cook so you have more breadth. In the grand scheme of things they are gonna cook things more or less the same when it comes to the baking/broil/air fry

I have a Ninja foodi and a Ninja toaster style air fryer. I love the Foodi for home fries and baking small cakes and as a rice cooker. I use it nearly daily. We got the toaster style one for toasting bread, for roasting vegetables, and baking small pizzas. Like every appliance, you have to consider your space and what you cook. For us, it's been great.

I've been using this beast Ninja Foodi 6-in-1 XL 2- Basket fryer for a year, and it's perfect for families or meal preppers. The dual baskets let me cook two things at once (like chicken wings in one and fries in the other) with different settings, and they finish at the same time thanks to the "Smart Finish" tech. It's fast, easy to clean, and the 10-quart capacity is a lifesaver when hosting friends. Highly recommend if you need versatility and volume.

I just got the ninja dual zone air fryer whilst it was cheap on amazon, really impressed with it, great for speed and doing the kids dinners quick after school, not had it long and im doing a roast dinner tomorrow, not even going to attempt it all in the air fryer, going to stick with my oven for that

I got the Ninja one that has 2 baskets. I thought I'd love it because you could use one basket at a time but honestly I hate it. Each basket is too small. No matter what you get, get a larger cooking area.

Bought the ninja 13-in-1 flip toaster oven second hand for $100 and it had replaced my microwave and dual tray ninja air fryer almost entirely. Actually, I haven't used the air fryer since I bought it, which was four month ago. The microwave I use to reheat leftovers, like soup, mash potatoes, that won't reheat well in the toaster. It has also pretty much replaced my conventional oven except for when I'm doing big batches or baking something that won't fit, like a cheesecake.

Foodi pressure cooks just fine Depends. Any device with "air fry" mode is going to be a compromise compared to a real air fryer. Personally I find the Foodi's two lid system to be clunky and annoying to deal with. I pretty much just use my convection oven instead of the foodi. I use a stovetop pressure cooker myself. But I definitely wouldn't recommend the foodi for mainly pressure cooking because the air fryer lid is permanently attached. So that would be pretty much always in the way.

we have the ninja side by side. it works fine. you can operate both sides as one, if you want. and you can set both sides to finish at the same time if they have different settings. i don't like that you have to manually pause it if you don't want hot air just blowing out when you open a basket and it doesn't have a reminder to flip like our single basket Instant Vortex does.

Yeah, I have a dual basket Ninja and I don't recommend it. Whenever you cook with both baskets it just doesn't have enough power for that so it cooks way worse, so you end up just always using only 1 basket.

Have a Pampered Chef and a Ninja dual , the ninja is useful for cooking two different things but the Pampered Chef just outperforms the ninja in every way! We use it 3-4 times a week and have had it for 5-6 years.

Double basket ninja. It's the best I've ever owned. Do not go for the cheap recommendations, I used to have a cheap gournia and another cheap brand (both were ~50 bucks), not very consistent, didn't cook all parts at same speed, etc. I love to cook everything in my ninja, lately I've been into cooking frozen steaks, better than sous vide etc and much easier and leave the best crust

This model of ninja is inherently flawed as an airfyer and the heating element is at the back. Reviews show it can lead to uneven cooking. If you have the space opt for the side-by-side ninja dual basket one, it goes up to 240C as well.
