Ninja - Foodi 8-in-1 XL Pro Air Fry Oven

the ninja foodi is awesome!

Given all the research you've already done, you've probably seen that giant comparison database of air fryers floating around Reddit [here, I bookmarked it](https://www.reddit.com/u/MaterialisticOcelot/s/AuYboNaNB6). It's super handy if you want to line up the details down to the very last spec. I personally have the Ninja Foodi and really like it, but I wouldn't really consider it a "budget" pick since it runs close to $200. That said, I do think you get what you pay for with these. I'd be careful about going under $50 on an appliance you expect to last.

I had a Foodie for a few years until it stopped working. It was a great pressure cooker and a decent air fryer but I am much more satisfied with separate devices now.

I have a Ninja foodi and a Ninja toaster style air fryer. I love the Foodi for home fries and baking small cakes and as a rice cooker. I use it nearly daily. We got the toaster style one for toasting bread, for roasting vegetables, and baking small pizzas. Like every appliance, you have to consider your space and what you cook. For us, it's been great.

I like the Instant Pot much better. I got a Foodi as well, but am trying to resell it as I don't think it's as nice or useful. Plus the materials aren't as quality. The pressure cook option in my Foodi sometimes doesn't work whereas my 3 IPs always do and are really easy to clean. The Foodi has the Air Crisp option which is pretty nice, but not worth it for the sheer size of the Foodi. It's a beast and very heavy.

I have a ninja that is a do it all oven. Has air fryer settings. I've been making wings in it recently and they've come out great

Personally I wouldn't want a pressure cooker to do anything other than pressure cook. I love my instapot. I would recommend a Ninja Foodi Digital airfry oven though. It replaces the toaster and airfryer plus many other settings. Its big enough where it's mostly replaced my oven all together. It tends to cook things about 30% faster than an oven without heating the house up.

Get the ninja foodie. I live alone and it's hands down the best thing in my kitchen. Cooks two different foods at different times and temperatures and finishes cooking at the same time. Would never go back to single cooking zone air fryer

That's what I'm looking at, same model but bigger. How long have you had it? Do you like it? I also have ninja foodie with air fryer function and I am assuming the basket for air fryer is also non stick and we have used it forever with birds around and it was fine... but that thing is so bulky and sits in the cabinet below the counter, I want to keep keep one on the counter....I'm still nervous!

I like my Ninja oven and air fryer combo for its versatility and speed of cooking - plus the results I'm getting on everything coming out of it are outstanding imo. Roasted a whole stuffed chicken last week as well as cooking scratch made pizza. Outstanding!!

I have a Ninja Foodi Smart XL Pro Air Oven in my full sized kitchen. I love this damn thing! I've often that if I lived someplace without an oven, I'd be just fine.

I'd vote for the Ninja foodie. I've been very happy with it after I bought and returned the Sur La Table. The slt is not only impossible to clean, but whoever designed & programed the UI (User interface) should be handed over to ISIS.

We like our Ninja Foodie. It has a large counter footprint when in use, but folds up against the wall.

the question is what ypi are after,. most air fryers do work and from my experience mechanicals have a tendency to do better in certain things, here are a few I have, I have at least 4 brands in my home and would be doing a test soon of them: [Philips](https://s.shopee.ph/6psbzlCuSe): probably easiest to use in the mechanical setting, it has a button to remove the tray so you wont get burned, takes a abit of time to preheat, i alwatys wait 5 minutes para umabot ng temp, everything is manual, can handle a lot of things but due to it being manual, you have to do the calculations yourself. very easy to clean, good enough size that you can place anything inside, temp is adequate. trays easily removed. all in all, this one has lasted the longest. I have a ninja oven like that one with an air fryer setting and it's bad. I have a ninja air fryer like the air fryer pictured as well, it's great.

We have the 8 in 1 ninja foodi. It sautes, pressure cooks, dehydratoy,bakes, air frys etc LOVE it & use almost everyday. Super easy to clean too.

I have a Ninja Foodi air fryer that is still going strong after 5 yrs of usage and it is still geting use multiple times a week.

I've had my Ninja Foodi for 4 years. Use it daily and it's still fine.

I have a Ninja Foodi that has been my primary device for years, bought one of these to combo with it as I couldn't pass up the pricing, and I actually use it more often my Ninja now! Of course there are certain functions that only my Foodi is capable of, but when it comes to plain ol' air frying the Gourmia is great

I've got the ninja 8 in 1. I love it. Somehow toast and bagels are different settings so it's more of a 7 in 1. Love me some bageled toast though

We have a ninja foodie, that I can't use anymore. It's mostly used for fries and chicken nuggets. We used to cook bacon in it and it was delicious. I am going to buy myself a small air fryer for fries and chicken nuggets. I like crispy nuggets and they do not get crispy in the oven. I really wanted a small ninja foodie but they don't make them anymore.

I don't have this one but I have a Ninja foodie that does air frying, and the fan is pretty loud. P.s. how was the pool party 🤣

I use the quarter sheets recommended by America's Test Kitchen by Nordic Ware for my quarter sheets. My 1/8 sheets are some generic cheap buy from the grocery store. I haven't had a problem with either. I haven't used foil, the direction specifically says not to so I'm not risking it. I believe the one I have is the Ninja sp101 digital 8-in-1 flip oven with fry basket

I have the Ninja Digital 8-in-1 and it changed my life! It can do everything a basket friar does and more. Generally it cooks anything an oven can cook about 30% faster than the box time too. It's pretty big but you can lose the toaster if you have one since it does that as well. It comes with a basket that's kind of a bitch to clean but you can use your own quarter baking sheets with a wire rack if you like. The only 3 complaints I have is one, the size. Thankfully it's on a swivel and can be positioned vertically. Two, the inside is impossible to clean well. And three, it can get pretty loud when you're air frying at high tempatures for a long period of time.

It's amazing honestly I love it it has so many options, 2 racks, a light, half way turnover timer, tons of cooking options such as baking, roasting, broiling etc. it also doesn't have PUFAS/ PFAS or whatever all that stuff everyone is concerned about. The top rack also doubles as a cooling rack. It's a bit of a pain to clean but that's the same thing with most air fryers since they need ventilation holes in the surfaces to effectively circulate the hot air. The window is nice to be able to see your food. It's a pretty nice size, enough to put enough food for 2 adults and 2 kids. It also comes with a cool little laminated air frying guide that shows about 60 different foods and how long to cook them for, what temp etc. it's definately better than your typical chef man and lower end fryers priced at this range but if you're looking for something a bit nicer around $120 I recommend the ninja foodie.

I have a ninja foodie so it's an air fryer, slow cooker, pressure cooker, and a few other things in one. Or at least it was till I set one of the lids on fire but that's another story. I say go for it. Bonus- I can put it all in the dishwasher.

I have the Ninja foodi air fryer. Next year I'm taking it with me on vacation.

I have the Ninja Foodi XL Pro and it's been great. I honestly think a lot of the "air fryer" marketing is nonsense. They are tiny convection ovens and they do a great job as a tiny convection oven. But they aren't this special mysterious separate thing. I use my Ninja Foodi exactly like I used my last convection toaster oven and they are pretty much indistinguishable. They do a fantastic job!

I bought a used Ninja Foodie off of Offer Up and was surprised that I find myself using all of the functions, especially the air fryer and pressure cooker. What great about he slow cooker is you can first saute stuff in the same pan/bowl that you will slow cook in. If you are in a rush you can pressure cook instead and everything comes out great.

Ninja foodi, you get an air fryer, pressure cooker, slow cooker, we use ours a lot. You can make soups, hot dishes, bake, broil, pressure cook. Can cook almost anything in it.

I have the Ninja Foodie oven one. I figured out some liners that solved the cleanup issue, and it's my go to for cooking a big batch of chicken breasts.

Yeah this is the same reason I don't really use my Foodi. It's also very loud whereas my Instant Pot (I happen to have 3) are quiet as a mouse. For pressure cooking alone the Instant Pot brand beats Ninja out imo. I prefer the basic IP models, as they are really good at what they do, alas the Ninja does more. I like the air crisp option on my Foodi but I'm not sure that alone is worth it. Bacon and burgers are really good in it after pressure cooking but chicken is gross on that one I learned. Ninja just doesn't excel to me in pressure cooking as it sometimes doesn't come to pressure at all. I'm actually trying to sell mine after only using it a few times.

I have a ninja foodi air fryer. It fits more than the standard basket fryers, does all and more than you describe toasts, dehydrates, etc. but the tradeoff is its impossible to clean completely.
