We also lack counter space. We like the Flip, but keeping it clean is quite challenging

Not entirely sure what you're asking for here after reading the question a few times. That being said, there are 2 possible answers I believe you could be looking for: 1. The model number doesn't match any on Ninja's website. This is a common practice that vendors make a Costco specific model to identify it as being purchased through Costco because often Costco has agreed to difference to the warranty as part of there purchasing agreement, or otherwise it's a different bundle than is offered at other vendors. 2. You want an actual review of the product. I have this unit, got it with a coupon a few years ago, and I love it. Bought it primarily for the broiler function because my propane oven would melt its knobs every time I'd use the broiler. It's now become my primary, oven, broiler, and toaster. I have also used the "air fry" function and it works really well too. Hopefully you find the answer you were looking for.

My parents have the flip ninja one and it's alright. Needs to be a tad taller but not like their huge model.

I bought a toaster oven (specifically the Ninja- if you have a Costco near you, they often go on sale) with an air fryer function. More expensive than an air fryer, but I'm also not a fan of one-use appliances. And yes, stuff cooked on air fryer mode ends up crispier. I would caution that if you are celiac or in any way sensitive to cc, air fryer needs to be gluten free ONLY

We've had ours that we bought at Costco for 3 years. Daily use if not twice per day because we are saving on gas 😂. I ended up making both pies for thanksgiving (one at a time) in here because the oven was full. Love that it has all the functions and is easy to clean. Preheats faster than a regular oven because it's smaller. We're a family of 3 so if you have a bigger family I would probably suggest a bigger one.

The Ninja flip is an amazing oven. The flip feature saves so much space. Look for the model with most features/settings. We got ours at Costco a couple years ago.

I'm vegetarian and have 2 ovens but they take forever to heat up. I use my Foodi flip air fryer ALL THE TIME instead of my oven. Sometimes I have to cook things in batches but it still seems more efficient and doesn't heat up the whole house.

I have the Ninja Flip it's an oven that can air fry, bake, broil, toast, and idk a bunch of other stuff I don't use, and I hide it in a cabinet when I'm not using it, but it does flip up to save on counter space. I don't own and microwave, and haven't in 12 years. I use this more than I use my oven lol.

I have the ninja air fryer that flips up. It has like 10 functions including baking and toasting and keep warm. I use it for 90% of my cooking, unless it's something too large to fit, that has to go in the regular oven. Microwave is good in its own way. Between the three appliances I can make just about whatever. I like heating some stuff up in the microwave until just warm, and then finishing it in the air fryer so it gets crispy, but doesn't take 20 years, like nuggets or pizza rolls

Costco gets specific models just for them. You will find this "problem" with every major product Costco sells. They won't be on the manufacture website, but there is usually an equivalent. Side note: I have this and love it. I basically stopped using my oven after getting one. It works really well. If it's on sale and want one you should get it.

I have the breville smart oven and I concur. It's a great second oven especially during the holidays or summer heat (I keep it in our attached garage) but every time I "air fry" something I always think this cannot be it. Then I purchased a ninja flip air fryer/oven for our place Up north and that was much better but still have the same thought it cannot be true. Now I'm considering the Ninja Crisp for the house. What do you think of that model?

I like my Ninja oven and air fryer combo for its versatility and speed of cooking - plus the results I'm getting on everything coming out of it are outstanding imo. Roasted a whole stuffed chicken last week as well as cooking scratch made pizza. Outstanding!!

Not any good as an air fryer. Basket air fryers are the only good ones for air frying. And they can do other stuff pretty well. Toaster ovens are pretty good at being toaster ovens and truly awful at being an air fryer. Anytime I hear someone complaining about their "air fryer" it's one of the toaster oven ones. Putting a fan in it doesn't make it an air fryer. The main issue (which is absolutely critical imo) is that they never have room to cook things that are tall. Whole wings, chicken legs, skin in thighs, etc. will never work properly. Additionally they often have the burner on the bottom, which means there is a drip tray, which causes all kinds of inconveniences and makes it significantly harder to get stuff crispy. If you can find one where the burner is coupled directly with the fan (i hear they exist) then that'd be your best bet. That Ninja counter folding one is an amazing toaster oven. It is literally the worst air fryer. People who love it either use it as a toaster oven or have no idea what a real air fryer is like. My girlfriend's family raves about it, but it can't make whole wings... So instant fail imo.

Get an air fryer toaster oven. I have a ninja foodi flip (can't remember the exact name) but it's big enough to bake a whole frozen pizza, lasagna, brownies, etc. I don't use my oven anymore bc I use this!

I've only used the Ninja Flip. I love it. Depending on how much space you have in the kitchen it might be worth looking into. There's a pizza mode which works great as well as toast, bagel, air fry, air roast, and some others I haven't used yet.

I just replaced my Ninja flip. It worked fine as a little oven (think frozen pizza) but every other feature was mediocre. Especially the air fryer mode. I now have the dual basket Ninja and do not miss the impossible to keep clean flip at all. I'm back to making quick, crispy AIR FRIED stuff again. Can you say wings??? 🤤

I have the ninja flip, from what I've pieced together from mine would be turning the fan on/off (air frying vs baking), broiling (only turns top heating element on), and dehydrating (low temp and maybe fan for a long time). I think toasting might turn top and bottom heating elements on at the same as well, ultimately just leaving it on air fry would realistically do all of it but selecting those individually might be slightly more efficient

I have one. It's been such a help and great with limited counter space in our small apartment. I can see why people are talking about the pain to clean BUT I have so far used parchment paper every time we use the air fry/bake settings. I got this to replace my old toaster and to not have to but a second appliance (air fryer). Is been his to us so far.

If you don't have an oven I'd say a low profile all in one air fryer like the ninja flip...it fits a decent sized pan and even flips up to save space if you need it to.

Yes! I have the same one and it's honestly been such a game changer - poke some holes in a potato and toss it in the microwave for 7 minutes then roll in a little oil and salt then 8 minutes in the air fryer (flip halfway) and it's better than a restaurant baked potato. Frozen veggies? Toss them in the air fryer. Baked chicken thighs? Into the air fryer they go. I love the ninja because it's the toaster oven shape (as well as being a toster oven) my sister has a non-ninja "bowl" type and I specifically got mine because I knew I would never use the other kind. I'm getting ready to upgrade to a larger ninja that can fit a whole roast chicken and I'm more excited than I thought I would be 😂

We make fries, hot wings, frozen snacks, baked chicken dishes, toast, pizza, I've even made pies, cookies, brownies, and cakes in ours. It's almost 3 years old and still going strong. It heats up in a minute and shuts off when the time is up, a safety concern after my roomie put a frozen pizza in the oven then fell asleep, he woke up to the smoke alarm and a charcoal pizza. Our regular oven gets used twice a year when we have roasts that won't fit in the Ninja.

I've had the Ninja Flip for a little over 2 years. We use it almost daily, sometimes multiple times a day. It's not a very large appliance, we are looking into getting a bigger one. On top of air frying I've made many pies, baked brownies and a cake.

I have one of these. Fantastic air fryer, 9/10. Two key points: A: It cooks a little slower than many other models - if instructions say cook for 10 min at 350, it will be 12-13. B: The "flip" thing is really a gimmick, at least for me. It doesn't save very much counter space at all, so it just stays in the regular position. The trays / pans / etc can sit on top because the heat from the machine wont hurt them. Overall, however, an excellent buy at full price, even better discounted, and if getting it from CostCo, there is a great return policy if for some reason it breaks.
