Mine is the Instant Vortex. Slightly smaller than a standard microwave. Has two shelves. I use it for so much. Its great for chicken thighs, sausages, raw vegetables, making toast. And of course also from freezer to plate items. It heats up leftovers 10x better than a microwave. Pizza and fries especially.
r/glutenfree • Air fryer must have? ->Just bought this to replace my Instant Vortex. I was looking for a ceramic basket fryer and this looked to be the best one I found, especially for the price. I haven't used it enough yet to really evaluate, but so far it seems great, and also looks good on my countertop. It's very compact for it's capacity. I few things I miss from my Vortex is the shake/flip alert, which is such an easy thing to include that I don't know why all fryers don't have this. The other thing I miss from my vortex is the knob, which makes it so much faster to dial in the temp/time. I'm still debating whether I miss the window or not. It's sometimes useful, but not sure if it's really a crucial feature. But otherwise it's a great air fryer.
r/airfryer • Loving my Cosori TurboBlaze - 450F is key. ->Kettle: Xiaomi We've had ours for 2 years, used everyday. No issues. Airfryer: Instantpot Vortex Used regularly for months now, works great. I like the oven style and tray vs basket style because easier to clean. I just pop the trays in a dishwasher along with the dishes. It also automatically preheats and dings to remind you the preheating is done.
r/ShopeePH • Electric water kettle & Air fryer recommendations pls (pass hodekt, nasunog siya 🫠) ->Not been my experience. My Instant Dual Vortex has been going strong for 3 years and does a great job, I've have zero complaints about it and my food comes out nice and crispy.
r/airfryer • Don't believe America's Test Kitchen, the Instant Pot Air Fryer Is Mediocre to Bad At Best ->Yep, I've had great luck following the instructions on food packages and can't recall ever burning anything or having bad results. I have an Instant Vortex dual basket air fryer.
r/airfryer • Best air-fryer that cooks food according to directions ->I've been using my Instant Dual Vortex multiple times a week for about three years now with no issues.
r/airfryer • Air fryer that won't die? ->I tried that one and didn't like it. Baskets are small and it's less efficient when using both baskets. I went with an Instant Dual Vortex instead, the two baskets are much bigger and running both baskets at the same time does not reduce its efficiency. I love it and use it for almost every meal I cook at home, and I think the dual basket makes it much more useful because I can cook my entree and side dish at the same time.
r/airfryer • Ninja Dual ->One piece of warning about the Ninja dual baskets is that I've read many times that when you run both baskets it takes longer to cook. I have the Instant Dual Vortex dual-basket air fryer, it does not really take any longer to cook when you're running both baskets (maybe 1 minute at most) and you can run it with just one basket in there.
r/airfryer • Question about dual-basket air fryers ->I have an Instant Vortex and its been great for years!
r/EatCheapAndHealthy • What's the Best Air Fryer to Buy Right Now? ->that why I like instant brand dual airfryer. you can use it as a single or dual . got plenty of surface area as a single to get stuff crispy
r/airfryer • Why do you guys prefer dual air fyers? ->I have the Instant Vortex Plus. It's the most used item in my kitchen, bar none.
r/airfryer • Why do you guys prefer dual air fyers? ->Unfortunately, there are many recent buyers who have had terrible issues with this exact air fryer. Apparently, InstantPot was purchased by a private equity firm, so their current models are not living up to their past reputation. We actually bought that air fryer a few years ago due to an America's Test Kitchen recommendation, and it's been great. If (when) it ever dies, we won't be replacing it with another InstantPot.

Ours just died after using it almost every day for two years, which is why I'm in this thread. We liked it quite a bit, but agree with Wirecutter's criticism that the Instant Vortex's user interface is crap - it's just a cheap touchscreen with poor sensitivity. I'm looking at other models now - the Instant Vortex was a lovely gift but I don't think I want to buy another.
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Air Fryer to Buy Now? ->Fantastic compilation, very much appreciated. I am a huge fan of the Breville Air Fryer Pro ovens, primarily because of the large capacity and the ability to air fry, as well as bake, roast, yada yada. I haven't used my regular oven in years,, because the Breville does most everything that I need it to do without heating up my entire home. With that said, I wondered if the air fryer part of the functions was not the same of the smaller, self contained units. The latest Breville croaked (not mad about this, as it has been in steady use for five years, sometimes three times a day). Ordered a new one and am currently waiting for UPS to show up, a week after ordering. In the meantime, I gave in to wanting to try one of those little self contained air fryer thingies. Because, I love kitchen gear and also because my young grandson was visiting and I needed to be ready to prep chicken nuggets for him. Without your guide and with light googling, I got an InstantPot Vortex Plus air fryer. With very limited counter space, I wanted a small one to play with. And, I liked the stainless steel look. I'm quite impressed with the performance of this little self contained unit. Easy operation (the controls are quite intuitive) and very easy cleanup. Crispy fries, nuggets, shrimp, asparagus and Brussels sprouts so far. So fun!
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →Top air fryer picks include Ninja Foodi Dual Zone for multi-cooking, Cosori Pro LE for compact efficiency, Instant Vortex Plus for versatility, Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer for premium features, and Philips Premium XXL for large portions.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →Recently got an Instant Vortex Plus with the window to see inside. Can't imagine using one without the window tbh. So far it's working great used daily. It's dishwasher safe, but I clean it by hand since it just takes a minute. Unfortunately, no air fryer will be BIFL and most are made from the same, cheap parts. They're inherently very simple machines though, so you can expect at least a few years out of any brand. Maybe prioritize whichever manufacturer warranty is the most forgiving?
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →I have the Instant Vortex. Using the Roast function to make salmon right now.
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →My Instant Vortex has been going strong for years. I use it almost every day.
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →i have this one, used daily for 2+ years and 0 complaints.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →The Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer is a great choice. If you want other options, Ninja and Cosori are solid picks, with Philips being top-tier for crispiness. Instant Vortex Plus is user-friendly.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →I have an Instant Vortex and its been great for years!
r/EatCheapAndHealthy • View on Reddit →Sorry for your expensive. I've had 4 different types and brands of air fryer. My instant vortex is my favorite by a large margin, and been going strong for over 2 years.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →My plus has been running great for over a year now
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →I did that and it still stinks 😂 I just use it for reheating food now since I don't have a microwave lol the taste is less noticeable though
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →I have the same one and the same issue. I managed to figure out the trick to use it. After you put the basket back in keep your hand on the handle then put your thumb on the top of the air fryer just below the button/knob and press down with it while pulling the basket handle up. Works for me every time. Still not great it happens but at least it becomes usable.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →We love our Instant Vortex basket model. We also have a counter-top convection oven that we like, but it sounds like you already have one of those.
r/EatCheapAndHealthy • View on Reddit →I have an Instant Vortex air fryer. Right next to said air fryer is a box of Costco "foodservice foil" sheets. The small loss of "airflow" is negated by turning food items... and it makes for really easy cleanup. I clean the basket proper about once a month despite daily use because it just doesn't get that messy with the foil.
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →I have the Instant Vortex Plus. It's the most used item in my kitchen, bar none.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →I absolutely love mine. I have the instant vortex. The fry basket rotisserie attachment alone is worth it to me. However. Look at multiple UNBIASED reviews. They are not all created equal. But if you don't want to do that type of research. You want one that is an air fryer first that also has other settings and NOT a convection oven that also has an air fryer setting. They are not the same.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →If you're cooking small meals, a single basket like the Ninja AF101 or Instant Vortex does the job well. Duals are great for variety but take more space. Go Ninja if you want durability, Instant if you want presets and ease.

r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →If may budget ka is [Instant Pot Vortex](https://s.shopee.ph/VsGwNfKWA) ang best option. Top air fryer iyan sa UK and medyo na-didiscover na rin sa Philippine. Bumili kami dahil ni-recommend siya ng tita ko and 4 years na namin gamit. 7 iyong pre-set functions niya kaya versatile talaga.
r/ShopeePH • View on Reddit →We had an Instant Brand Vortex that the display started failing 1 year in. I replaced it with a Gourmia and its performed perfectly for 13 months. It cost less than 1/2 what the vortex did.
r/Costco • View on Reddit →I know Instant Pot people troll and monitor this subreddit, so I expect to get botted to hell and back as well as attacked for this. That being said, I ordered the Instant Pot Vortex with Window due to the America's Test Kitchen recommendation and people here saying it is good due to that review. I had it for 2 years almost. In that time, the light for the window died, and the LED display also died. Luckily, Amazon let me get my money back. That being said, these defects weren't showstoppers, and it didn't fully die ever. Great right? Well, after the second death I got my money back and got a Ninja Foodi FlexDrawer. I have to say, having now used it for 1 month, using the Instant Pot was like living in the dark ages. Food comes out crispier faster. Max Crisp 240 C is a game changer. My wings went from mid and barely decent to as good as oil fried. I am truly amazed at how much better it is and wanna spread the gospel to avoid the Instant Pot one. To prove I am not a bot or have an agenda benefitting either company, I will say the Instant Pot itself is hands down the best electric pressure cooker system in existence, and I'd fully recommend you buy that over any other one. Also on the flipside, I'd say Ninja devices aren't always amazing because I had their blender / food processor combo and that thing died from normal use after 1.5 years. If you have trouble deciding on your Air Fryer go for any of the Max Crisp Ninja ones. It's a game changer truly. Will post pictures of my wings next time I make them.

r/ShopeePH • View on Reddit →How long does it take for the plastic smell to go away? I just got one and can't handle the smell 😩
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →Something like an Instant Vortex. Highly versatile.
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →Oven style air fryer will give you the most options. I love my Instant Vortex.
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →Right? It's so bad and the plastic smell gets into the food. Granted I've only had it for a day but I'm going to return mine if it doesn't go away. I don't know any alternatives that don't do that though! I was considering the Ninja AF101 but there were reviews about it smoking and catching on fire so now I'm paranoid about even getting a new one 🥲
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →I am. I'm using a instapot vortex plus. I had one of the corsori, but you had to pull the door down like an oven and then pull the hot basket out... That's a deal-breaker for me, and I also had one of the ninja twin baskets. But I found one larger basket is better than two separate baskets even if they're larger combined.
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →We have an instant vortex and it gets used practically daily. Roasts potatoes, reheats pizza perfectly, makes things crispy, etc. I baked a tiny cake in it and roasted a whole chicken, too. My household is me and my partner only so it's just a small countertop oven that replaced the convection oven when it died so we don't have to turn on the whole oven. I wish it were quieter but it's pretty perfect and definitely will be replaced if something happens.

r/weightwatchers • View on Reddit →I did some research and a few people who's opinion I trust seem to prefer the basket type. I'm now on my 3rd one. We are a family of 3 and the 6 quart size fits us best. Somebody said that if you buy one to big, it still works. If you buy one to small, you can't make it bigger. I had a bad experience with zero support from my last one. It was a brand called Bella. I would avoid them like the plague Just got an Instant brand Vortex Plus (same folks who made my Instant Pot) and I love it. It has better circulation than either of my other two. It is fun to use, and beautifully engineered. I got it on Amazon for $79, I think the regular price was $99
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →One piece of warning about the Ninja dual baskets is that I've read many times that when you run both baskets it takes longer to cook. r/airfryer • View on Reddit →We have an Instant Vortex. It's good. Even with a convection oven it's handy. With no oven I'd definitely get one.
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →I purchased the same Vortex Plus with front window from a thrift store with the "Close Basket" error. The only solution for me was to open the unit and replace the micro switch. When you close the door, a cone shaped extension, visible on the top front center housing, gets pushed up to the micro switch. If the micro switch is faulty, you'll always get the "Close Basket" error. This used unit has been working for close to 2 years.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →The Ninja Foodi and Cosori Pro are two of the best air fryers for even cooking, large capacity, and versatility. Instant Vortex Plus is another great choice with multiple functions like roasting and dehydrating. If you want something high-end, Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer is excellent.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →I hate my Xiaomi the Teflon is utter trash which makes cleaning it a chore. Owned a Cosori before it and now bought a Insta Vortex Plus. They use good Teflon unlike the Xiaomi
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →Same issue, same instant vortex, just outside of warranty. We took it completely apart. The switching mechanism for the door is super cheap and fails with heat. To be honest, the entire unit was pretty cheaply built and not meant to be serviced. We bypassed the door switch and everything works fine now. Probably took us more time than money saved but we hate throwing stuff away. As for their customer service, when we had things fail under the warranty period they were pretty good about just sending us replacements. I probably had the receipt, I don't recall. That was also over a year ago, probably longer. I definitely agree having seen the unit inside and out, it is indeed cheaply designed and will fail far sooner than one would like. It was very obvious it was designed to be a consumable.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →I have a smaller one similar to the Instant Vortex Plus. I love it and have had it for around 5 years(?). Any ways, I've never tried the basket air fryers and couldn't tell anything about them. Now, I'm currently single, but it will work for two people. Any more than that and not so much. If it's munchies you're making, it'll work. Large meals for 4 or more would be an issue.
