Thanks for the reply. I have an Instant Pot Vortex Plus, which is great, but I often have to stage food and keep stuff warm, so want to try a dual. Might give the Paderno a try, it has good reviews and it's $150, wife likes blue.
r/airfryer • Paderno Vida Air Fryer ->Just bought this to replace my Instant Vortex. I was looking for a ceramic basket fryer and this looked to be the best one I found, especially for the price. I haven't used it enough yet to really evaluate, but so far it seems great, and also looks good on my countertop. It's very compact for it's capacity. I few things I miss from my Vortex is the shake/flip alert, which is such an easy thing to include that I don't know why all fryers don't have this. The other thing I miss from my vortex is the knob, which makes it so much faster to dial in the temp/time. I'm still debating whether I miss the window or not. It's sometimes useful, but not sure if it's really a crucial feature. But otherwise it's a great air fryer.
r/airfryer • Loving my Cosori TurboBlaze - 450F is key. ->Philips, Instant Pot/Vortex, and Cosori are all better than Ninja. Ninja has bad non-stack and low power.
r/airfryer • Why do you guys prefer dual air fyers? ->> this was a big issue when they first came out; I assume they've fixed it by now Can confirm - it had a smell the first time I ran through a 15m air fryer cycle (empty, per the quick start instructions) and I haven't smelled anything since.
r/airfryer • Air fryer is slowly dying ->America Test Kitchen made a review. They recommended the instant vortex clear 6 liter. I bought one and also recommend, but it's my first so i have no comparison.

I haven't that much Air Fryer experience but I'm very happy with the 6 qt Instant Vortex Plus. I hardly use my oven anymore.
r/AirFryers • Moving: Need Air Fryer Recommendations 🕺💃 ->I bought one back in July and since I unpacked it I haven't used my oven once. There may be better ones but it's worked well for me. I like the dial to change time and temp.
r/airfryer • Instant pot vortex plus air fryer reviews ->Thanks for your input! We have one of those instant pot vortex air fryers, just with a different label on the front. The house we are moving into has fairly new appliances. They were bought in '22 I believe but it's just the two of us and a dog so we don't often like using the oven if we can help it. I'll take a look at the Bella air fryer! I guess air fryers themselves aren't that expensive. If I'm going to spend $500 on appliances, I might as well look at a combi oven too 😂
r/airfryer • Buying new appliances, should I get a dedicated air fryer and/or countertop oven? ->Ours just died after using it almost every day for two years, which is why I'm in this thread. We liked it quite a bit, but agree with Wirecutter's criticism that the Instant Vortex's user interface is crap - it's just a cheap touchscreen with poor sensitivity. I'm looking at other models now - the Instant Vortex was a lovely gift but I don't think I want to buy another.
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Air Fryer to Buy Now? ->Mine is the Instant Vortex. Slightly smaller than a standard microwave. Has two shelves. I use it for so much. Its great for chicken thighs, sausages, raw vegetables, making toast. And of course also from freezer to plate items. It heats up leftovers 10x better than a microwave. Pizza and fries especially.
r/glutenfree • Air fryer must have? ->[Instant Pot](https://s.shopee.ph/AUislZZh2b). We bought the older version ng Air Fryer nila sa Mall 3 years ago and hanggang ngayon nagagamit pa rin namin. But wipes lang pinanglilinis namin. And upon checking is diyan din sa Vortex Plus. Wait mo review ng another affiliate here, si dogmankazoo, may Philips air fryer sila. r/ShopeePH • View on Reddit →for ease of cleanup, I'd say go with the ones with a basket, not the ones that double as ovens. The basket can be taken out and washed. The oven style don't work as well for air frying and are hard to clean. We got an Instant Pot Vortex Plus and loved it. we found that we could cook so many things and started cooking rather than going out to eat because it was so much faster. Eventually that one had to be replaced when the display failed but we definitely got our $125.00 worth out of it. We replaced it with a Ninja Crispi Pro and it has been good too. We like that it has a glass basket. That is easy to clean and doesn't have the non-stick coating that might be of concern for some.

r/airfryer • View on Reddit →For durability, nothing beats a [PHilips](https://s.shopee.ph/5L2rpImD1M), Ive had mine for years now, its mechanical, so less parts for repair, but its a bit small, it can handle most things but unlike the digital, you are doing guess work regarding when to place the food as preheating is done, i do 3 minutes with mine, regarding cleaning,. its easier than most, you press a button and the tray seperates, kahit yn iba mahal, it wont do that. but may trade offs din isa pa yn size nya. but regardings longevity, Philips is great. we are using [midea ](https://s.shopee.ph/50Q1QfEgTp)din, its not bad, good size, good looks and mech din, its another option but it wont remove tray as easily as the Philips. affiliate link posted plus pictures of the unit https://preview.redd.it/xos1b4ef8vrf1.png?width=2019&format=png&auto=webp&s=f5132d1045efa9f213c3e0beb05233934399abd6
r/ShopeePH • View on Reddit →My plus has been running great for over a year now
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →I have not had this experience. I started with a ninja basket type. When I was looking for a bigger one, but similar style I got the instapot vortex (no window) and find the performance of both basically the same. Used each for over a year, so it's not a one-off experience.

r/ShopeePH • View on Reddit →Kettle: Xiaomi We've had ours for 2 years, used everyday. No issues. Airfryer: Instantpot Vortex Used regularly for months now, works great. I like the oven style and tray vs basket style because easier to clean. I just pop the trays in a dishwasher along with the dishes. It also automatically preheats and dings to remind you the preheating is done.
r/ShopeePH • View on Reddit →Pretty happy with our Instant Pot Vortex. Decent size, easy to clean, easy to use. And it's held up now for about 2-3 years with almost daily use, so that's saying something.
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →1. For basket fryers cleaning the basket is going to be the same everywhere. Remove the grill and clean both separately. The only difference is whether the basket/grill are non-stick or dishwasher safe. 2. Parchment paper defeats air flow and therefore the purpose of an air fryer. In addition for foods which give off a lot of fat, such as chicken legs, the food would be lying in a pool of fat on the parchment paper. You want the fat to drain in order to crisp the food. 3. Top reviewed is Instant Pot Vortex Plus 6QT. Not the most robust unit out there. Support and parts can be problematic. The unit will likely last as long as the non-stick coating does. Non-stick coatings or all cookware has a limited life.

r/airfryer • View on Reddit →I think for that size is Oven size na, walang top brand out there na may available ng 9L at least. r/ShopeePH • View on Reddit →I purchased the same Vortex Plus with front window from a thrift store with the "Close Basket" error. The only solution for me was to open the unit and replace the micro switch. When you close the door, a cone shaped extension, visible on the top front center housing, gets pushed up to the micro switch. If the micro switch is faulty, you'll always get the "Close Basket" error. This used unit has been working for close to 2 years.

r/ShopeePH • View on Reddit →It's a small convection oven and you can have mine when you pry it from my cold, dead hands. My regular oven does not have convection (I'm one of the poors with one of those ghettoass stoves with the broiler on the bottom), so having my air fryer (instant vortex 6 qt) has been a major quality of life improvement. About the only thing I use my microwave for now is to reheat my meal preps. Anything frozen that can fit in there, gets cooked in there. And it makes some great chicken wings too.
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →but if you have the budget, go for the[ instant pot vortex,](https://s.shopee.ph/1g9ZVD3lY0) got a lot of features, though one problem is cleaning as well, you have to use tongs if hot to remove the draining mechanism, but this thing really removes everything with it, you dont need preheating wait, it tells you, you dont need to second guess, ive used it for a few times already and it does. I need to finihs the testing for the mosquito killers and would be doing the inductions next for that. the [Instant pot vortex ](https://s.shopee.ph/1g9ZVD3lY0)is very good, cooks well, even tells you when to flip. affiliate link posted plus picture of the unit https://preview.redd.it/k4zbaw8bfvrf1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=86a4aabcfd392d9560a663b1d2aff430ea62826e
r/ShopeePH • View on Reddit →I recommend the Instant Pot Vortex Plus 6QT XL Air Fryer 🤷♂ï¸
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →ATK= America's Test Kitchen. I'll see what I can find on pot grabbers. Stay tuned. I have the six quart Instant Vortex. I did have the air fryer adapter for my six quart instant pot, but it was way too small for two of us. If you're cooking for more than two people, I would get an eight quart.
r/cookingforbeginners • View on Reddit →If you're cooking small meals, a single basket like the Ninja AF101 or Instant Vortex does the job well. Duals are great for variety but take more space. Go Ninja if you want durability, Instant if you want presets and ease.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →I have the 6Q and love the capacity, but they also have an 8Q option https://a.co/d/gJ5yV3V I buy oven liners and cut up one for the air fryer. https://a.co/d/0oPklUa I also sometimes use parchment, but you can't leave it inside without food
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →I haven't that much Air Fryer experience but I'm very happy with the 6 qt Instant Vortex Plus. I hardly use my oven anymore.
r/AirFryers • View on Reddit →I have an Instant Vortex and its been great for years!
r/EatCheapAndHealthy • View on Reddit →I hated my first air fryer bc of a bad design and low capacity. But I absolutely love this one https://a.co/d/5cjufk4 I use it for everything. Everything tastes better crunchy . It cooks chicken pieces very moist .
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →Exactly $100 and 5* or more in my case . Huge capacity and easy to use https://a.co/d/3OHV3M4
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →Same issue, same instant vortex, just outside of warranty. We took it completely apart. The switching mechanism for the door is super cheap and fails with heat. To be honest, the entire unit was pretty cheaply built and not meant to be serviced. We bypassed the door switch and everything works fine now. Probably took us more time than money saved but we hate throwing stuff away. As for their customer service, when we had things fail under the warranty period they were pretty good about just sending us replacements. I probably had the receipt, I don't recall. That was also over a year ago, probably longer. I definitely agree having seen the unit inside and out, it is indeed cheaply designed and will fail far sooner than one would like. It was very obvious it was designed to be a consumable.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →If may budget ka is [Instant Pot Vortex](https://s.shopee.ph/VsGwNfKWA) ang best option. Top air fryer iyan sa UK and medyo na-didiscover na rin sa Philippine. Bumili kami dahil ni-recommend siya ng tita ko and 4 years na namin gamit. 7 iyong pre-set functions niya kaya versatile talaga.
r/ShopeePH • View on Reddit →I hate my Xiaomi the Teflon is utter trash which makes cleaning it a chore. Owned a Cosori before it and now bought a Insta Vortex Plus. They use good Teflon unlike the Xiaomi
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →The Instant Pot Vortex won the ATK comparison. I bought one on that recommendation, but bought two sets of pot grabbers like you take camping to retrieve the disposable aluminum dishes I use for freezing meal preps.
r/cookingforbeginners • View on Reddit →Yeah, replaced our Instant Pot Vortex with one and its been excellent, lots easier to clean too.
r/Costco • View on Reddit →Instant Vortex 6 qt. I have cooked a whole chicken, wings, and they have come out delicious. They also excel at reheating frozen foods. A comment above also reminded me that my MIL was so excited to get an air fryer and she did not believe me that her CONVECTION OVEN already did the same thing 🙄She also doesn't understand how the thanksgiving turkey gets done so much faster when I do it (I use the convection oven)
r/Cooking • View on Reddit →Xiaomi air fryer pro 4L. I no longer have it as I threw it away and bought the insta vortex plus.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →I have the Instant Vortex Plus. It's the most used item in my kitchen, bar none.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →America Test Kitchen made a review. They recommended the instant vortex clear 6 liter. I bought one and also recommend, but it's my first so i have no comparison.
r/BuyItForLife • View on Reddit →There have been many posts searching for a "non-toxic" air fryer. Don't really understand it. I am extremely chemically sensitive but I have absolutely no problem with teflon coatings. Haven't seen any posts about health issues with teflon with their air fryer other than the obvious ones such as the coating failing. Top reviewed fryer is the Instant Pot Vortex Plus 6QT. It is relatively cheaply made so the LCD display is failing but I can still use it. Double baskets have limitations. The Breville oven style is a high quality expensive product but not as good at air frying.
r/AirFryers • View on Reddit →I have it and the basket is falling apart. I use the heck out of it. Love it other than I wish the basket held up better.
r/AmericasTestKitchen • View on Reddit →I have the same one and the same issue. I managed to figure out the trick to use it. After you put the basket back in keep your hand on the handle then put your thumb on the top of the air fryer just below the button/knob and press down with it while pulling the basket handle up. Works for me every time. Still not great it happens but at least it becomes usable.
r/airfryer • View on Reddit →Unfortunately, there are many recent buyers who have had terrible issues with this exact air fryer. Apparently, InstantPot was purchased by a private equity firm, so their current models are not living up to their past reputation. We actually bought that air fryer a few years ago due to an America's Test Kitchen recommendation, and it's been great. If (when) it ever dies, we won't be replacing it with another InstantPot.
r/weightwatchers • View on Reddit →This checks out, I have a instant pot vortex, got it bc it seemed like the most highly recommended one that wasn't a dual zone or an oven style one
